My wife Jess and I just had our wedding at the RLI a few weeks ago and we were absolutely blown away! Here are some of our thoughts:
The Space: When we went to tour the RLI for the first time, we had that "butterflies" feeling when we walked into the barn. My mom said that she almost burst into tears when she walked into the barn on our wedding day because of how beautiful it was. So many of our guests had such amazing things to say about the venue and for good reason.
The Staff: 10/10. We worked with Samantha Loonie, Taufik, and Soli Boudreau and they worked incredibly hard to make our day awesome. Every time a guest said that we were so lucky that everything went so smoothly, we were sure to tell them that we had great people working very hard in the background making it happen. Inevitably, when planning a wedding, some things won't go according to plan. It's important to choose vendors that you are confident will do right by you when those bumps in the road come along. The staff at the RLI were trustworthy partners that you can count on to do everything they can to make your event special.
We are so grateful to the RLI for all they did to make our wedding amazing!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Red Lion Inn and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was extremely attentive and took great care of us, the rooms were cozy, the food was delicious, and the venue itself is beautiful. Our day could not have been better and we are grateful for the Red Lion Inn team for helping to make it so!

Had the most amazing stay! I haven’t checked out yet but our service was so amazing, I wanted to make sure I didn’t forget to tell my experience:) The staff was absolutely attentive and wonderful! So friendly and truly kind. Michelle, at the front desk was so sweet and welcoming. I forgot to catch the hostess’ name at the restaurant, but she went above and beyond to cater to us at dinner. Speaking of their restaurant, the food was also so delicious, we ended up having dinner here twice. Very clean and spacious rooms. I am so impressed, I would love to visit Massachusetts again<3

This New England Inn and Tavern has been a popular destination for local weddings and conferences. Since new ownership has come in, they've renovated but kept the timeless charm that has made this a must visit. They also do pretty unique Valentine's Day getaway packages. Who do the servers and bartenders think they are? Seriously lacking basic human interaction and communication skills. Low ceilings (albeit constructed of beautiful 1740s beams) make this bar feel even more cramped than it is....only made worse by the incredibly robotic and strangely pompous bartender and teams of unpleasant service staff coming through with parties of people saying excuse me in a most rude tone.

Definitely a hidden GEM! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! Very clean and unique. We are on a 2 week motorcycle ride and found this place by accident. Hoping my husband will plan a surprise trip back for our anniversary ?

My daughter stayed here for her wedding weekend and the staff was so wonderful!. Her reception was at a nearby venue, not at the inn, but they treated her like she was a special guest. I would highly recommend!

Once you find the Inn entrance, the interior is dark and gloomy Original Floors have been stained too dark; rooms have old dark carpet which adds to the depressive feel and instead of choosing attractive wall hangings, someone had the bright idea to scour every local flea market and hang old junk on the walls. Torn? Dingy? Hang it! Beds are comfortable ; the architecture and interior have been left in the original state which is good. But old doesn’t mean dark and gloomy!
