Walking in the door, Helen’s is very unassuming. We were two families of four and they got us in immediately. Between the 8 of us we enjoyed the fish and chips, burgers, chicken and waffles, ABLT, a wrap, tuna melt and pastrami melt. ALL of it was amazing and enjoyed. After seeing the deserts come out for the other guests, we also enjoyed apple and blueberry pie, molten lava cake and a cookie sundae. All the food was fresh, fabulous and clearly made with love. We also were served by the owner who was great and the granddaughter of the original owner.

As “ locals living in Concord” it is great to support a local restaurant from time to time. We decided to have dinner and what an incredible experience. I had the baked meat loaf and my wife had the salmon bowl. Together with a polite and attentive waitress we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Visited recently and absolutely loved it. We came on a Saturday lunch time so it was pretty busy and we had to wait for about 5/10 mins for a seat. But so worth it. Massive menu selection and all of the food and drinks we got (there were 4 of us) were great. Big portions too. Will definitely be back.

WARNING: If you are not a white person, do not dine here. Incredibly rude staff all around, created such an uncomfortable environment, we were made to feel not only unwelcome, but unsafe. The staff is evidently racially prejudiced, treating my party differently as we were the only table with non-white individuals in the whole restaurant. Shame on all of you.
