Helen's had been here since the 1960's (most recently as a Brigham's) where I would go ad s kid. This time I went for lunch with two of my granddaughters and they loved the food and the shakes. I went for my perennial favorite: Hot dogs and fries. Helen's screams COMFORT FOOD!
Your classic American Diner! Just love it!

A throw back in Time with excellent food. Very unique setting and great comfort food in the center of historic concord. Save room for dessert!
It's just a regular little diner. The service was minimal. They were in a super hurry to get us out when there were still empty tables. The waitress kept coming around and removing stuff from our table while we were still eating. And in the middle of the meal someone started sweeping the floor and I could see all this dust in the air. Its not for me!

Helen’s Restaurant is a true gem in the heart of Concord. It has that wonderful small-town diner feel — cozy, friendly, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The food is absolutely delicious and served with genuine care, the kind that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor, and the service was just as warm.
What makes this spot even more special is where it’s located. Concord is steeped in American history — from the first battles of the Revolution to the literary legends who called it home. Sitting at Helen’s feels like being part of that timeless story, right in the center of a town where history and community meet. It’s the kind of place you want to come back to again and again

I had the Baja burger with fresh jalapeños avocado and Chipotle aioli on the best gluten free bun I have ever had. Definitely recommend.
The service was amazing here! And this was in walking distance of the Concord Colonial Hotel.

Love this spot! Food is always great. Staff is phenomenal! I love their french toast, tomato avocado melt and my mom loves Helens & Sue's chocolate ice cream soda! Paul and Greg are great!!! Must spot here if you are in town!
My soup and sandwich were delicious. Casual atmosphere, good food. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't have breakfast all day on Sunday.

I enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich at this cute restaurant. And the blueberry pie, baked on premises with Maine blueberries, was delicious!

This had a fantastic small-town diner feel with amazing food and the portions were large. We even met one of the owners and had a great conversation about the restaurant's history. The staff was friendly and fast!
