Hadn’t ordered from Rossini’s in a while and decided to give them a try. Totally disappointed. Ordered a pizza and it came really undercooked. No brown, no crisp, just a floppy mess. Won’t be back.

On Friday, 12/5/2025, my wife and I stopped for our second lunch in a year. Last year we enjoyed the food and the service, and this year was just as good. We ordered the Rossoni Supreme pizza, and it was an outstanding thin-crust pizza, as good as any and better than most we've had anywhere. The warm bread and oil were an excellent starter as we waited for our pizza. I complimented the chef on the way out. I can't understand how anyone could give this place a less-than-stellar review.

They forgot to make my take out order. No one cares in here.

Very reliable neighborhood spot for casual Italian. Pretty quick take out, or comfortable eat-in area with small patio.

My husband and I went here yesterday on a whim and had an great time. I ordered a calzone and my husband ordered a medium pizza. They had bread and oil complimentary and the food was amazing. 10/10 will be coming back.

UPDATE your schedule and don’t waste people’s time!! On a Saturday night, after my son’s presentation, we went to Rossini to eat a pizza. Their hours say they close at 10 PM, but when we arrived at 8 PM, we were told they were already closed. It was so disappointing, especially since I had my family with me. Please update your schedule and don’t waste people’s time. We will never be coming back.

I used to love this place and the food is pretty good, however, the last two times I’ve been there it has made me sick. Not throwing up or anything, just a bad stomach ache. I went with a group and the only two people who ate the chicken pizza got minor food poisoning. Before that though, this would be an easy 4 stars maybe higher.

Got a pizza a few days ago barbecue chicken was not cooked properly, no flavor at all spoke to a worker there he keeps giving different days to call his manager to replace the pizza and miraculously the manager is never there when I call he must be hiding because he does not want to take care of me as a customer that brings business from BMW I’m not going to call anymore I have called for 3 or 4 days and they keep giving me the run around. Lousy pizza and no one does anything for you they keep hiding.

I went to Rossini’s in search of something simple and true, and I found it in the modest warmth of a pizzeria that bears no unnecessary pretense. Amid the clamor and constant movement of our modern lives, there exists in Wayland a quiet corner where sustenance is offered not with fanfare but with care, and where a man may sit and eat in peace.

The crust of their pizza is of particular note, possessing the crispness of fallen leaves underfoot in early November, yet softened by the tender hand of dough well-worked and time well-spent. Their sauce is no riot of spices nor sugary artifice, but rather the honest product of tomatoes sun-ripened and unashamed of their earthbound origins. It speaks not loudly, but clearly.

I found the staff to be industrious and cheerful, though never obtrusive. They seemed to understand what many in this life forget — that the truest form of hospitality is to allow a man his solitude even as you serve him.

Their pasta, too, is made with an earnestness I admire. I chose a simple penne with marinara and sausage, and it reminded me that the richness of life is not found in excess, but in the wholesome repetition of good things done well. It nourished more than just my body.

Rossini’s is not a place for idle gossip or hasty indulgence. It is a place for the quiet contemplation of a meal — a refuge, however brief, from the relentless machinery of time. One might say, it is a kind of Walden in sauce and cheese.

I left with gratitude and with the firm belief that the best places are not always those most talked about, but rather those that hum steadily in the background of a town, feeding its people with humility and heart.

If you would dine well and live deliberately, go to Rossini’s. And go hungry.

What a wonderful find! The pizza was fantastic, just the right crisp!
The mozzarella sticks were to die for, maybe the best I’ve had in years!
And the staff is lovely.. very authentic Italian fare.. oh and I didn’t try the salad but I will next time. It looked heavenly!
Thank you!!

We love Rossini’s. Delicious fresh and reasonably priced food. Rossini’s is an increasingly rare example of a fine family restaurant that the family can afford.
