My wife and I worked with Kelly's for alcohol + bartending at our wedding this past weekend at the Lake House Guest Cottages (LHGC) in Lanesborough and all we can say is WOW.
We could not have asked for a better alcohol vendor. Our planning calls with John were fantastic -- he listened to our vision and delivered on it so well. We asked for two speciality cocktails (spicy passionfruit margarita + moscow mule) and his team came up with perfect recipes for both.
The beer canoe was SUCH a hit with our guests for our welcome dinner, we couldn't recommend it more. Our bartenders, Jocelyn and Chico, were so welcoming to our guests and a pleasure to chat with. They were also so communicative if we ran out of anything specific during the event, asked us if we wanted it to be restocked (which we always did!), and John came over immediately with the extra alcohol.
This team works amazingly with the LHGC and we couldn't recommend them more if you're having your wedding or an event there!

They were incredibly helpful, advising us on quantities and types of beverages and what we needed to rent to make sure everything went smoothly on the day of. They worked well with the other vendors and their bartenders were all great! The drinks were tasty and we had everything we needed!

Such a pleasure to work with John and his team. The bartenders were so amazing, when I finally made it over to the bar they gave me my "bride" koozie. Also great recommendation to include Stateside and Surfside seltzers and iced tea! Highly recommend!

I recently visited Kelly's Package Store, and it's a pretty average liquor store. They have a decent selection of beverages, but nothing particularly exceptional stood out. The prices were fair, and the staff was friendly enough. It's a place to get your basic alcohol needs met, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

From preparing in advance for the events and walking through the menu with us to ensure it fit our style, preferences, and budget to service the during the events - Kelly's was amazing! The canoe bar for the welcome bar was a huge hit and added a little extra something! The bartenders the night of the wedding were not only fun but provided outstanding service. Don't be deceived by the tiny storefront facing Main Street...just around the side is the large parking lot that reveals just how huge this package store is!This is a family-run enterprise and we have always received that level of helpful customer service -- including some great recommendations for new beverages to try. The prices are reasonable -- just slightly more than you might pay online -- and for us it's definitely worth it to support this local business. And although we've never tried the service, they also are happy to make deliveries.And the selection is...just wow. Not only can we find all of our regular preferred beverages, but a wide range of interesting new varieties to explore.The only suggestion I can think of is that it would be nice if Kelly's could offer some sort of loyalty program. We already patronize them regularly, but we would probably do so even more if there was even a small incentive to do so.In any case, we're glad we found them!
