My experience at the 99 was decent, but it left me wishing for more when it came to the food.
I ordered a New York strip steak cooked medium well, paired with mashed potatoes and a house salad. The salad was fresh and enjoyable, but unfortunately, the same couldnât be said for the rest of the meal. The mashed potatoes lacked seasoning, felt airy, and were served on the dry side. The steak, which should have been the star of the plate, also fell flatâit was underwhelming in flavor and didnât deliver the richness youâd expect from a New York strip.
Overall, while the service was fine, the food didnât leave much of a lasting impression. I hope the kitchen takes more care in seasoning and execution, because the potential is certainly there.

Danielle is a such a bright light as a server. Great staff overall. I had not been to 99 in over a decade but I went there with my family. We really enjoyed the Vermont chicken sandwich, the salmon, the shrimp, and a few other items. We are very grateful especially for the service!
