Paid almost $20 and put a tip in for a pick up order for a chicken salad. Get the chicken salad go out. Go meet my friend in the park to eat it. There’s no utensils not one napkin. I will never ever ever go there again.

On my goodness! 99 has an amazing selection of deliciousness! Such a timeless classic from one of New England’s finest.
BEWARE. HEALTH HAZARD!!! We've been going to this 99 for years, almost every week. Thursday is trivia night and the most common night for us to be there. We always eat our share of popcorn and the waitress had some for us almost immediately. She claimed that they were low on the usual popcorn bowls, so it was served in a soup bowl. We ordered appetizers and then soon after, we were told that the water heater had broken and they had to close. When our appetizers arrived, my wife's soda was empty, and it remained like that the rest of the time we were there. What was strange is that some guests were being served after the announcement and some, including us, were not. I wouldn't have noticed anything odd at all if that weren't the case. Then it dawned on me that the reason they were "out of bowls" was probably because they hadn't been washing anything for some time before we even arrived. It is very suspicious that they kept things partially running so long after they realized there was a problem. I can't imagine how many health codes had been violated. And it was done so matter of factly, that this is probably not a first time nor an only incident. We tried to get soda refills at the bar, but the bartender simply told me, "I don't even know if I can do that." Literally. Then why is this restaurant still open? Maybe someone from the corporate office can let me know that before I start inquiring at the State House.

Rather a weird day but we went on Easter after taking mom for an MRI which we thought was equally weird on that day. We had a lovely meal and left our attentive waitress a generous tip. I had the chicken parmesan, my daughter the chicken fingers dinner and my mother one of the burgers. I'm surprised we didn't have room for dessert but we were definitely full and happy. Always a good choice.

Very disappointed in our visit this weekend. The service from 2 servers was less than satisfactory. She kept rushing us to order...had a bit of an attitude...just not friendly...the food came and my baked haddock was terrible! All mushy...like maybe it was cooked frozen? I ordered broccoli and corn and they never even offered butter. I asked for extra lemon on the side...that was the sadest dish of lemons I'd ever seen...very small and just looked old...We asked if we could have bread to go with my elderly mom's cup of chowder...they said they don't serve bread anymore but we could buy a piece. So we said okay how many pieces do you get and she said two. That was good because someone else wanted bread to go with their salad. The bread comes and it's 1 piece. We had to ask for the 2nd piece and again the attitude from the waitress..We asked for more napkins...she never brought them so we asked the man who brought the food. He also was very snippy and seemed like he just didn't want to be there. And these were 2 adult servers not young teenagers that might not know better. Then we wanted to order food to go...that was apparently another hassle. No one checked on us or our meal...they left us alone the entire time...the steak tips on the salad were very dry and over cooked...then the man who brought us the food for some reason told the woman server that we wanted separate checks...no one even came to the table to ask us about checks...we never even had a discussion about if we were done...no offer of coffee or dessert...she just comes over with 5 separate checks and apparently that annoyed her too. I can't believe how disappointed we were. I would not recommend this restaurant at allThe food quality was ok for 3 of us but the service more than sucked. I will not be returning to this 99....Nor will the other 4 people who were with me. Sad.

We are on a trip and this establishment was so accommodating for our large group. They went above and beyond to get things out and take orders efficiently. Our server Megan was wonderful and even thanked and discounted a Veteran sitting with us. We were treated with great respect! It was a lovely experience.
Went to the 99 Restaurant for an early valentine's day dinner and it was very nice. We went early before the dinner rush, which is great for me. The waitress was very kind and attentive. Got a few mixed drinks from the bar, nicely done. The food came out hot and delicious.Those mozzarella moons were absolutely noteworthy(Sorry I forgot to get a picture before I packed up)

I stopped in for a quick bite while I was out running errands. Shauna was my server and was super friendly. My Bloody Mary was way too spicy and Shauna was quick to take it off my bill. My buffalo tenders were very tasty.

I'm not a big person to send In reviews but I thought my experience here was worthwhile enough to make a yelp account. I went to the 99 in Danvers and sat at the bar. I was greeted by a young women named Olive who is the reason behind this review. Olive was extremely kind, upbeat, and skilled. She kept a constant smile on her face despite being busy. She gave me amazing drink recommendations, asked me about my day, and chatted nicely not just to me but anyone else who sat down. I got the chicken Caesar salad and it was great. Though really the best part of the visit was the amazing service.
