After dining there for years,being reassured that our food was vegan, we have discovered that the sauces contained fish sauce or oyster sauce. This information was related to us by the manager Katie. Evan, the owner (along with his wife) was always so pleasant and accommodating when we dined in the restaurant, giving us suggestions on what to order. We called in to place a take out order tonight. We were told by Katie that Evan was too busy to speak with us, or advise us as to what to order. I asked for a call back at a future date to discuss the menu. We are long time Danvers residents. We would very much like to give them our business, but not at the risk of consuming food that we do not eat, and would become ill from. Extremely disappointing. Unless this changes, we will not be returning. We feel disrespected, and not valued as customers. Sadly, we will be dining elsewhere.

Incredible restaurant, came here before catching a movie by myself and was welcomed in a warm, friendly manner. Sat at the bar and was met with excellent service, despite it being busy, I got my meal and drink quickly. The server also was on top of drink refills. The sushi chef’s have a big bowl filled with 1’s, 10’s and 20’s and it is for a very good reason as it is some of the best sushi I’ve had in my life. If you wanna catch dinner before a movie…THIS is the place to go…NOT Buffalo Wild Wings. Will be back more frequently.
Edit: upon leaving it was discovered my card was declined due to a freeze at 8:30 pm on a Friday night before a long weekend. I panicked and cried bc it was so embarrassing. I even showed the staff what was in my bank account to prove I’d never go out to eat if I didn’t have the money. There have been times I have been actually poor in my life, but now is not one of them. In any case, they were SO understanding offering many, beyond expectation, accomedations. Luckily, I was able to use my brother’s card and will call my bank first thing in the AM. Also, there was a couple dining and offered to cover me…thank you so much for being such kind, compassionate, and understanding people. Despite my embarrassment from crying and people probably thinking I didn’t have enough $ to pay the tab, I will absolutely be back and was made sure I felt welcomed back. This is a TRUE and AUTHENTIC business and I will be recommending to everyone from now on.

The food is excellent! Definitely going back for another sampling. The orange beef was really good. If you’re a sushi fan then you can’t go wrong, the unagi was the best I ever had. Small quaint environment, had a pleasant experience. Highly recommended for a date night out.

This is a hidden gem, it's actually not that hidden I've driven by it countless times but we finally went and tried it with my wife and everything we ordered was delicious. We tried an item from nearly every section of the menu just to see what's best and literally all of them were the best. Sushi, pad thai, wings, tuna. Soooo good
