Liked the hotel very much, it looks like one of those old big mansions lol. My daughter loved the outside pool, very clean and they had towels available at the pool site. Check in and Chek put very smooth, if you pass the time of check out they only charge you 15 dollars. I recommend this hotel for 1 or 2 nights stay. They have breakfast available for an extra 30 dollars.

I really like this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. The only thing was it didnt include breakfast, but there was a restaurant on-site that you could get breakfast at

Was told that there is a curfew and that I need to stay in the room. I been in dozens of hotels around the country and this is the first time I ever heard any such rule. If you want to feel like you’re in communist China then this is the place for you but if you enjoy your freedom and want to go out late this is not it at all. Will be telling my company to put this hotel on the do not use list ASAP

The atmosphere throughout the property is inviting and relaxed, making it easy to settle in right away. The hotel is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for—everything from the lobby to the guest rooms felt thoughtfully maintained. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel provides a peaceful, reliable place to stay with all the comforts you'd hope for.
I highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

This Sonesta Select was wonderful. From the outside, the building reminds me of a college. The staff were engaged and helpful and check-in was smooth. The room was well-decorated with good lighting and a comfortable bed. Our window looked out on a lovely grove of trees. For me, the location wasn’t the best as there are few restaurants in easy walking distance, but for business travelers with a car that may not matter. Our three-night stay was comfortable, quiet, and calming. I’d recommend the Sonesta Danvers.

Our connecting plane was canceled. The Sonesta was not close to the airport but had a room ( graduation weekend,so everything was full). We arrived after 11pm and two workers came out and were so sympathetic , encouraged us to eat and helped us get settled in.

A perfect hotel experience! The staff is helpful and the hotel is clean and well-maintained. There are multiple entrances for your convenience, the windows ACTUALLY open a little for fresh air, and the it's a pet-friendly hotel, so you get to see people walking around with their dogs (and maybe get to pet them, if you ask).
The parking is $5/night, free if you're a Sonesta member, the grounds are beautiful and it's the perfect distance from Salem. If I was to go to Salem again I'd only want to stay here.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the property itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. But what truly made my stay stand out was the exceptional service from the staff, especially Amanda.

Amanda went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making my experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, she made a lasting impression.

It’s rare to encounter someone so professional yet personable, and it’s clear Amanda takes great pride in her work. Her attention to detail and thoughtful gestures made my stay not just pleasant, but memorable.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a personal touch that’s hard to find elsewhere. I’ll definitely be back

We stayed at Sonesta Select Boston Danvers for three nights during our city trip and had a great experience overall. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, the room was relatively small but very cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. The small hotel market came in handy for snacks and drinks.

We also appreciated the high-quality toiletries – body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and creams were all excellent.

The hotel is well located, right next to a Marshalls and other stores. While some areas feel a bit dated, it was clean and perfectly fine for a short stay. A great base for exploring the Boston area – would definitely recommend!
