Smaller hotel; service was friendly and rooms were comfortable.
Lovely stay! Location was Right next to the shopping centre. Large bedrooms. Staff were lovely.
This hotel is extremely rude and unprofessional. The day before Thanksgiving my husband and I were kicked out dew to me getting my menstrual cycle over night and it getting on the bed. This is extremely unprofessional and not right. Any women knows that sometimes this happens and it's out of your control. I even told housekeeping about it and apologized for it not only did they not refund me my next nights stay they gave us less then an hr to get out. If you are staying in Danvers Mass don't book the sonesta select.
No coffee ready in the mornings
Our bed had no mattress cover so you could feel the material balls that built up (I cringe) I laid the extra blanket down on top of the mattress and remade the bed which seemed to help…. Didn’t bother asking the front desk for a mattress cover. The room also had an odd smell almost like lingering sweat? We left the window open most of the stay to get fresh air in. The hallway door to the stairs is super loud so you can hear that too. Wasn’t a horrible stay but wasn’t the greatest either.
Mixed feelings here. The grounds are beautiful and the location is convenient. Some of the staff were very kind, one was very dry. The bedding was comfortable, room was missing some of the essentials you normally see. For example out of shower gel, half a roll of tp in place, and coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The middle of the ceiling above the bed had some pretty heavy water damage. There are breakfast options available on site, but not continental so you pay for breakfast. It is good, just a different way of doing things. Exercise room is available and clean, and there are snack options and essentials available at front counter for purchase anytime. Our room was next to the elevator and it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. All in, if you’re in the Danvers area or visiting Salem it’s a nice place to be.
Great beds
Wonderful experience. Will definitely go back.
This was the most hospitable hotel we have ever stayed at! Staff was super friendly and helpful and everything near by was super convenient. We will definitely be staying here again!
Great location and easy check in/check out process. We only stayed for one night but the room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The rooms are definitely outdated but we didn’t mind. Just happy it was clean and had black out curtains. Definitely bring a sound machine. I would definitely consider coming again if we ever visit in the future!

Beware
The tell you about complementary breakfast but it’s not! Room is small over priced stafff is rude
Clean rooms close to mall.
Cherry was very helpful with a reservation I highly recommend this hotel!
Pros: Conveniently located, comfortable bed. Room very clean, service at the front desk and housekeeping was excellent.
Cons: Sofa was ripped, older, and sagged. Bathroom shower diverter did not work well and very difficult to move the water up to the shower spout. Breakfast very basic and cost extra. I’d be much more impressed if they offered a breakfast buffet like Homewood Suites.
Liked the hotel very much, it looks like one of those old big mansions lol. My daughter loved the outside pool, very clean and they had towels available at the pool site. Check in and Chek put very smooth, if you pass the time of check out they only charge you 15 dollars. I recommend this hotel for 1 or 2 nights stay. They have breakfast available for an extra 30 dollars.
