Our bed had no mattress cover so you could feel the material balls that built up (I cringe) I laid the extra blanket down on top of the mattress and remade the bed which seemed to help…. Didn’t bother asking the front desk for a mattress cover. The room also had an odd smell almost like lingering sweat? We left the window open most of the stay to get fresh air in. Mixed feelings here. The grounds are beautiful and the location is convenient. Some of the staff were very kind, one was very dry. The bedding was comfortable, room was missing some of the essentials you normally see. For example out of shower gel, half a roll of tp in place, and coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The middle of the ceiling above the bed had some pretty heavy water damage. There are breakfast options available on site, but not continental so you pay...
This was the most hospitable hotel we have ever stayed at! Staff was super friendly and helpful and everything near by was super convenient. We will definitely be staying here again!
