When it comes to the infamous “North Shore Beef”, nothing comes close to Supreme’s quality and service. I’ve tried many: Bill and Bob’s, both Nick’s, Kelly’s, Brother’s, and the newcomer Jamie’s.
A great North Shore Beef should be filled with plentiful, rare, hot, tender beef and covered in sauce.
What sets Supreme apart is the consistency, and attention to detail. Can you get a great beef at one of those aforementioned establishments? Sure, but are you guaranteed the qualities of a great beef? Absolutely not. I’ve had less than stellar experiences at the others.
Sauceless beefs at Bill and Bob’s. Gray, tepid meat at Nick’s Famous. And unfortunately, meager portions abound in the Beef Space North of Boston, the proverbial Holy Land of the Roast Beef Sandwich.
Never have I left Supreme feeling disappointed. If you want to try this legendary sandwich in its ideal form, do yourself a favor and get yourself to Supreme Roast Beef in Danvers.
