Let's be honest here, this place is supposed to be boujee and overpriced - but that's no excuse for the terrible customer service and sub-par food. Now they've expanded their market, but the prices for the products offered do not match the quality. The "cafe" has mediocre food at best, at extremely inflated prices, and their staff is downright rude and condescending. I have tried to give this place multiple chances, but it keeps getting worse every time. Today, was the last straw - when asked how long a wait for a table would be, it seemed that we were basically annoying them, and told "well, we don't have a host or anything..." with a sneer. Padanaram is a lovely area, but there are far better restaurants and merchants - it is not worth wasting your time and money on this oft-overrated spot.

It can get a bit crowded at peak times. Very good with accommodating for allergies. You have to try their hand cut fries…bring a friend or two…you won’t be able to finish them. They have a large variety of items for such a small place. Truly worth the trip.

Great local cafe and grocery. Best butchers around!
I want to single out how good their small butcher shop is. Yes, the prices are high, but the quality is very good, and small, specialty markets like F&C are just more because of their scale and neighborhood. My only complaint is that their grocery selection is always changing and they simply need a more reliable selection of fresh vegetables. Granted, they really aren't set up for that, but still.
Very expensive bakery ,bought pizza to go it was ok and ONE cookie for 7 dollars

This place is right down the street and if it was better organized and more consistent quality I would eat here all the time. Last time I went was the worst. Service is always bad here with disorganized girls gathered in a huddle or wandering around who may, or may not wait on you. No one seems to have an assignment and it is hit or miss if they come to your table. I ordered what I usually get, a Southwest Chicken salad. It came with 75% breading and 25% chicken. I tried to scrap off the breading digging for the chicken. Since I have ordered this a number of times before I knew this was not the norm, but maybe now they are cutting costs by filling you up with breading to pay for their new construction. When a girl came to the table, I informed her that it was not up to usual quality and there was very little chicken. She said she wished I said something earlier. I responded this was the first time she came back. I didn't want to make a big deal about it just letting them know something was wrong here. She left and then another girl came to the table. I again mentioned that the salad was not the usual quality. She said she knew, the other girl had told her. No other response. She took my payment and we left. Just can't see bothering to come back again at this point as it was such an uncomfortable experience and it gets tiring asking for silverware so often and having to get up and get it yourself anyways as no one brings it after you ask. My sons have gone and on more than one occasion have to order from the counter as well as they often never got waited on. Just too bad as they are expanding and I hope they get their act together. For the prices they charge, I would expect better quality and some service.

It's a great gem, I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie. The breakfast was great and very delicious. They have various options to choose from, not to mention their market that has a magnitude of options to pop in and go. From prepped meals to sweats, to various meats, this market has just about everything you're looking for. I love the vibe and feel in there. It's so chill, I can't wait to return, and I highly recommend it.

I don’t know why I keep coming back to Farm and Coast Market because the service is consistently disappointing. My most recent experience was just the latest example. I ordered my usual meal, which always includes chips, but the cashier argued with me, insisting it didn’t. When she was finally corrected, she threw the chips into my bag and walked away without even looking at me—no apology, nothing. This kind of dismissive, rude service seems to be a pattern here, and it really takes away from what could be a great experience. I’ve given this place enough chances, but I think I’m done.
This is kind of a trendy deli/market in a trendy, picturesque part of Dartmouth.
Upon entering, I was initially confused if the sit down area was open-seating or if you had to wait to be seated. Turns out it’s open-seating. Signage making this clear would be helpful.
I ordered the Italian sandwich and my guest ordered the hamburger sliders with cheese. My guest, a notoriously picky/critical diner, raved about how delicious the sliders were.
My Italian sandwich was a rather unique take on what is normally a ho-hum standard. Although expensive, at $16, it was pretty huge. The focaccia bread was fluffy and soft. The meats were clearly of high quality and had a delicious, unique flavor. Big thumbs up. It also comes with a delicious hot pepper-relish spread, which sets off the sandwich.
Service, while friendly, needs some work. After taking our order and bringing out our food, the server simply disappeared. I’m guessing her shift must’ve ended because another server finally noticed that we were done and finally brought us our check.
Overall, our $28 meal was worth it, and I plan on returning to try more menu items.

Their coffee/espresso is consistently good. The space is often crowded and a little confusing to navigate. I find the to-go food options to be reliable (variety salads + sandwiches) but 16$ is too steep for a chef salad in my opinion—especially once they have sat there for a couple days; items like this should be discounted. With that said, their food is of high quality.
Seems overstaffed yet service is always bad. Widely held opinion in the area. Managers need to get it together.
