Persy's Place Dartmouth

We have been here previously and enjoyed it. Sadly, today was NOT at all what we have come to like about Persys Place in Falmouth. The restaurant not busy, but tables were not bussed. Our food, which was not anything crazy, took exceptionally long to arrive, and was not even warm upon arrival. The item that took the longest to arrive was the toast! The waitress who has been there for years told us that the bread was made here so not sure why two pieces of toast took so long to come. She also brought us the check without even checking to see if our food was ok or if we needed refills, which we did. Definitely a bummer!

91 yrs young Mother, she deserves all the accolades and a raise... Food was fresh and delicious!!!

I have been a few times. Staff is very friendly. I had a waitress Luna and she was wonderful. Food was cooked perfectly. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended. You get a free corn bread to take home with a meal. And bread is all homemade.

Waited almost 40 minutes (party of 2), but left prior to being seated due to the fact a party of 1 was seated within a couple of minutes after they walked into the restaurant even though they arrived 20 minutes after us. At least 5 parties left and those tables cleaned while we still waited. Looking around the restaurant it appeared they only had a total of 3-4 parties seated at tables. I understand wait times when restaurants are short staffed, but the unprofessionalism I witnessed from the girl working at the front was unacceptable, while she was bragging out loud about how people “hate working with her”, we were still waiting to be seated. I’m not confrontational at all and always respectful to restaurant staff, but I was beginning to lose my patience. I also never write reviews about bad experiences but this particular experience was ridiculous. I’ve been going to Percey’s Place for years and it was always one of my favorite breakfast places. Very disappointed with what this establishment has become.

For a diner, it’s exactly what you’d expect. The food is good and the service is on the slower side but overall a good visit. No GF bread options but plenty to choose from that is GF.

The food is not that good plus every time I order from them they forget to add my toast and English muffins every time ! Honestly the home fries are never cooked all the way .

Went out for breakfast w/ my mom & neighbor. Everything was really good. They have good pancakes and hashbrown shreds. I would definitely come back 😀

food is excellent but portions change day to day no constancy one day it's good and plenty. next time you go it just good.

It was busy when we arrived and there was a hostess Jen who was very nice, professional and kept a smile on face while dealing with all the patrons. She made our short wait pleasant. Great customer service Jen!
