Employee Review for Ashley – Sail Loft We had an exceptional experience at Sail Loft thanks to Ashley, our server. From the moment we sat down, she was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we enjoyed our meal. Her recommendations were spot-on...something we rarely experience. Too often servers list everything on the menu when asked for suggestions, but Ashley actually guided us to dishes she truly enjoys herself. It makes such a difference knowing she's familiar with the food, and it shows. More restaurants should encourage their staff to taste the menu...it clearly helps elevate the entire dining experience! On her recommendation, I tried the chicken piccata, and it was one of the best I've ever had...made even more impressive considering it was one of the busiest nights of the year (Holiday Stroll). Despite the crowds, the entire staff was friendly, the food came out quickly and piping hot, and the cocktails were delicious. The Christmas music set the perfect atmosphere. It's been quite a while since we last dined at Sail Loft, but after this visit, we can't wait to return. Thank you, Ashley, for making our night such a memorable one. She truly made the visit a hit!

We made a reservation for 4 in the heated patio which is very pleasant in the summer, but not in the winter. Our table was just south of the rear entrance and was subject to cold breezes through the plastic sheets that served as "windows." We tried to tough it out for a while, but it was not pleasant. When we complained, they quickly moved us to a more central table in the same room where it was reasonably comfortable. The food and service were both fine, as usual. Probably will wait until summer before returning.

Needs a menu update, also the heated patio isn't fully heated; it gets cold on the side with no space heaters. Otherwise very good!

I thought the food was excellent. My friend and I did the 3 course special. We were totally surprised by the serving being a normal size. We thought it would have been half. Needless to say, we brought some food home. Definitely looking forward to the next time.
