Bangkok Thai Cuisine II

The quality of food here has gone downhill while prices increase. Got the Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai. The Pad Kee Mao has an odd sauce on it with barely cooked veg and 3 measly pieces of tofu. The noodles were all rubbery, broken up and flecks of noodles, just not good. I didn’t even eat it. Plus $45 for two takeout dishes, this place used to be a go to for take out.

I had a very bad experience with Bangkok Thai Cuisine through DoorDash. While I was driving to pick up my order, my kids accidentally canceled it on my phone. I immediately called the restaurant to explain, and they told me the food was still there and I could pick it up.

When I arrived, they refused to give me my order unless I paid again. I even showed proof of payment through Venmo, but they still insisted. Both attendants were extremely rude. I ended up losing $26, wasted over 30 minutes driving with my young children, and left without both my dinner and my money. This was extremely frustrating and unfair.

I ordered pad see you and pad Thai to go. The pad see ew had a watery base with very little if any flavor any very few noodles. The noodles were stuck together, which makes me think they were yesterday‘s leftovers. I won’t go there again. Years ago I was there almost weekly. Sad. My guest said the Pad Thai was dry and tasteless.

Got takeout from there because I was working in the area. All I wanted was an order of beef teriyaki. They charged me $18 and I only ended up with 5 tiny little pieces of something that tasted like cat.
I don’t recommend this place

Food is usually decent but randomly inconsistent. Went in for dinner and sat for 25 minutes without even having our order taken. Had to walk out and eat elsewhere so we wouldn't miss our movie.

I really like Joe very friendly they make the most hearty soups imaginable their other food is world class at good price....This is the best Thai restaurant on Cape by far. ..

My experience as a local is the Thai places are unfortunately getting worse and worse :(
Might be night time is better? Like that one cook is still a good one?
LUNCH for 2 people: 2 thai ice tea, 2 apps, and 1 entree $65 with tip. More expensive app of shrimp & veg tempura I ordered as my main meal, had a burnt aftrrtaste to it and looked like it was from a frozen bag of veggies, Shrimp, not the nice long ones you want in Tempura but 3 small curled up and sad shrimps. Entree ordered a 1 for a spicy scale when they asked for the preference and got an 8 or 9. LIterally couldn't eat it. I apologized profusely as I hate to send things back. Ever. They just took it, didn't say anything. I thought they'd just take it off the bill, and we would go. All of a sudden, we got the dish back, obviously just rinsed as it was watery now and no sauce. Food on the Cape just seems worse and worse. I feel so old saying 'I remember when things used to be good' all the time, but here I am again. Good luck out there!

Sorry guys, I know your slammed but you have to fix your online ordering system so it doesn’t just send a bunch of people to you that are all standing around waiting for food for 30+ minutes.

The food was pretty decent but I asked for my noodles Thai spicy and they had absolutely no spice at all which was disappointing.

I had never eaten here before and I never will again. Also never had food poisoning until I ate from this toxic waste dump.

We've visited this place twice during our recent Cape visits. The food is fantastic. We eat a lot of Thai when we travel and this place has consistently excellent food. If you go early for dinner it's a very quiet dining room. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with if you have a lot of questions about the menu.
