This is my #1 favorite seafood restaurant on the Cape! They make the BEST fish & chips, which come with delicious clam cake fritters and cole slaw. Get some of their soft-serve ice cream after dinner!

The summer weekend dinner rush can make for long waits and there's very limited seating, but their food is TOTALLY worth the wait! They'll give you a buzzer so you can wait in your car until your food's ready. When the parking lot is full, we've actually parked in the big lot across the street and the buzzer works fine over there.

But if you can come on a warm spring or fall day when it's less busy, their limited indoor and outdoor patio seating is cozy. You still order at the counter when you're sitting at their tables, but they'll bring your food to your table when it's ready.

Tip: There are more picnic tables on the 6A (front) side of the building that aren't visible from the parking lot or the main entrance, but they are visible from the front ice cream window, so they're likely to have some ice cream drips on them here and there. 😆🍦

Parking: If their little lot is full, we park in the big lot across the street, and the buzzers work fine over there.

Kid-friendliness: Last I checked, they have a few highchairs inside.

Food was fried perfectly, captains plate was delicious! The employee at front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Also shared some background info on the busy seasons and popular attraction in Cape Cod.

I've been going here with family since it opened in 1976. The food is always fresh & delicious and the soft serve ice-cream can't be beat. It gets quite crowded during the summer season but that's too be expected. Over the years they've expanded their outdoor seating. Great atmosphere!

Casual family dining with seafood and burgers and Frosty treats. Indoor and outdoor seating is provided and there are clean restrooms. No adult beverages. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Prices are reasonable for Cape Cod... We had a lemonade and two fish and chips platters and it was less than $50 including tip. We both agreed that fish was delicious, moist and flaky. The fries and coleslaw were good. Overall we were very pleased with our experience in this clean and friendly family restaurant.

Parking: They have their own free parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: Casual family dining atmosphere including outdoor seating.

Last night was the first time in years that we went to Frosty's because we were told the food was better again. They were wrong!

Presentation of all orders was terrible. The fork was the first item in and it was then covered with everything else - rice, salad, and the main meal. Cole slaw was in a small container, turned upside down and oozing juice throughout the plate. The breading on all our fish orders tasted like baking soda, obviously not mixed well enough or too much was added.

I would not recommend Frosty's. There are better places on the Cape to get fresh fish.

Good enough food, but the staff makes it rather clear they don't want to be here. My first stop in with the family did little to make us want to return as a result, especially when it looks like they have tons of similar options in the area.

We were excited to try this place, and left pretty disappointed with the food. Atmosphere is so cute and cozy, it’s also nice to grab soft serve there after dinner. But the food was just lacking flavor entirely (fish & chips, lob roll plate and onion rings). The lob roll was chewy compared to others we had on the cape. Also sooo pricey for what you get :(

A favorite spot to go with the family while on vacation in Dennis!

This place was delicious. I got the salmon bowl and chowder, husband got fish and chips. The only thing I would change is the orange dressing on the greens with the salmon bowl but the rest was so good.

Also, delicious ice cream. Not cheap for quick service (we spent ~$65 for two adults and a toddler) but we've had enough food misses that we'd go back here to ensure a good meal.

I was visiting Cape Cod for the first time in my life 2 weeks ago with my girlfriend. After 7 hours of driving from Montreal, we stopped at a beautiful beach and the sun was shining in the sky. After 2-3 hours of swimming and tanning, we were very hungry. So we took the road and started looking for local restaurants before reaching our campsite. We saw a looooong line of people waiting to order in front of the Captain Frosty’s! We then decide to try it out and OH MY GOD IT WAS SO GOOD. We took the captains plate which includes all of the fried options (fish, clams, shrimp and scallops ). The food was tender inside, not to salty on the outside and perfectly crunchy. We also took a clam chowder because I never tried one before and I discovered a new favorite plate. The service was excellent. Very respectful staff. Everybody around us looked happy. It was only good vibes :))

If you're scouring reviews, unsure about whether you want to eat here, the answer is -yes, yes you do.

Normally I've been pretty good about taking photos for these reviews but unfortunately we were so excited to eat, we forgot! In any case, everything here felt freshly made to order and not from frozen (if anything was, we didn't notice so kudos to the chef)! We had the fish n chips, a chicken burger, an Arnold Palmer and if we had room for it, the ice cream looked great too. Next time we're back on the Cape, this place has been saved on our list as places to return to, until next time!

We've been going here since 1985 and never once have we been angry about the food since now, in August 2024.

The "captain plates" were on such tiny paper plates that a scallop and clam fell off onto the waiter's tray and she didn't even offer it back to us, like a moron.
The piece of fish on the Captain's "plate" was about the size of the kiddies "piece o fish". The clams were ruined. But there were tons of fries, taking about 80% of the tiny paper plate. The only thing generous were the fries. Pathetic.
I was so mad about these tiny paper plates, on what's supposed to be an expensive fancy meal. I just cannot go back to this place anymore. Good luck.

Fried shrimp the best. Try the grilled scallops, they are also good. Or the 5oz burger is a nice treat. Maybe the best is the banana boat.
