Stopped in after a beach day at Chapin for some dinner out on the patio. It was buggy, but nothing the restaurant can do about that.
3 out of 4 in our family are gluten free (allergy), and heard they were very accommodating here, so we wanted to see for ourselves.
2 of us got the smash burger 🍔 on a GF bun. We both enjoyed tremendously! Little guy got a kids GF pasta with butter.
My fault for not paying attention as I looked over the bill and paid, but with the GF upcharge, that kids bowl of pasta was $17. Dining on the cape is never cheap, but this was certainly more than what was noted on the menu, and was definitely not a home-made pasta.
Kind of left a bad taste in my mouth on the meal (literally, as I ate the pasta for a leftover lunch), although overall a positive experience.
Drinks were good all around, super friendly staff, and cute vibe.

Came down the cape visiting my son on vacation for my 66th birthday. Saw an advertisement for this place saying the fried fisherman’s platter came with shrimp scallops codfish and whole belly clams. After placing the order the waitress came back and informed us they were out of whole belly clams and would more scallops work. I shook my head in disbelief and said OK trying not to ruin the mood. When the plate came, it came with eight scallops four shrimp and a square piece of fish (similar to that at McDonald’s) on french fries. The sea food was pre frozen and breaded and fried. Needless to say, it was a very disappointing meal.

It has pretty good food and the valet parking is kind of a cool feature but the good is overpriced. It's real close to Mayflower beach which is a plus but the location is why the price is the way it is, in my opinion.

Service was slow. We called right before we got there and asked if there was a wait for 2. She said no, we have two tables open. I said I’ll see you in 2 minutes. We get there, I hate that they have valet and I have no choice in the matter to not use it. So we go inside and ask for a table for two and she has us waiting for 15 min for the table. Then we get to the table, and it’s this tiny thing squished in between two large tables full of people. I couldn’t even pull my chair out without hitting woman behind me. Waitress didn’t come for like 10 minutes. She didn’t really check in with us. I had to ask her for everything. The food was not great at all. $18 crab cake was mush and falling apart but tasted ok. Caesar salad looked like it was thrown on the plate and so sloppy and waaaay over dressed. My nachos were a joke. $18 for 8 chips with toppings on them and everything underneath was bare, no cheese, no chicken nothing. **see photos** probably will not be returning here and we are locals.

Context: 8/10/24 - Where to begin? The only positives i have for the restaurant itself was that the food was good and valet was fine. Service was terrible otherwise. We sat at the high tops in the bar (4 of us) and not one person came over to give us a menu or anything. We might as well have been clocked in because we pretty much tended to our own table the entire night. Other tables around us were receiving service and waitresses were checking in on everyone but us. We tried to get drinks in the bar and the older man working in the bar was so rude and yelled “ TIME OUT TIME OUT” in my mother’s face. The lady working was super sweet though. There was also a bouncer that was extremely rude and should be talked to due to his behavior and his lack of professionalism. There was a ton on underage drinking the entire night yet he was most concerned about grown adults drinking 3 beers. Harassing my family and I the entire night. We were there for the band. We drove 2 hours just to see the band and enjoy the night for someone’s birthday in our group and the service was terrible. Thank God the band was absolutely amazing, the whole night was not completely ruined.

I ordered the salmon special with mashed potatoes and bok choy what they served me was white rice and broccoli. When I asked what happened they tried to gaslight me into thinking I ordered the wrong thing. They then brought me instant mashed potatoes as a substitute. They then charged us for the mashed potatoes. If your going order the salmon special.
