Vastly overpriced and overrated. The menu is incredibly limited, and the cooking is unimpressive.
Dinner for two was $150 with an appetizer, two drinks and desert. For that kind of money, there’s an abundance of dining choices that are far better.
We’ve given this restaurant several tries, and each time we’ve ended up at the same conclusion.
With such a limited menu, if this establishment can’t get the food absolutely nailed, then patrons are just wasting our money. I’d rather have an amazing meal in a shack than a mediocre and unmemorable meal in an upscale dining setup.

Bar and Al fresco dining in the summer, but still limited by the kitchen and menu. You’re paying for the dining ambiance and the location. The restaurant on its own is mediocre at best.

The ambiance here is on the upscale side, as are the prices. The food was good. I had a halibut special with seasonal sides, and the flavors were delicious, but the fish was overcooked and dry. My friend had seafood Alfredo and enjoyed it, and especially appreciated that it could be made gluten-free. It was very busy, but the staff maintained a friendly professional attitude and our food arrived quickly.

Wait service is terrible! Manager said that each table has “3 waiters” which makes no sense to me. I prefer to have one person wait on me so they know me, what I want and they check in with me. No one checked in with us after our food was served. No one came when I needed another glass of wine. Then they gave us the wrong check. Clancy is really messed up right now. We’ve been coming here for 20 years but never anymore. What a mess. Never again.

My go-to restaurant each time I visit Cape Cod during the summer. Love sitting out the outdoor patio with a scenic view of the river & you just might get a glimpse of the swans. My favorite fish is the Baked Stuffed Lobster, which includes scallops & shrimp under the tastey stuffing. Exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this establishment!

Like they said. The views are spectacular. Even when raining, and it certainly was raining today. 3 items we chose today, part recommended by our very personable server were the best examples we had had. For example. The fish and chips as good as any in the US. The Brussels were Devine. Highly recommended.
