Hidden gem on 6A
Placed an order online for a birthday cake earlier in the week, but didn't receive a response. Followed up yesterday, but their voicemail was fill. Followed up today via phone and they don't make their own cakes here. I was asked to call a nearby pizzeria and I can't tell if that was a joke or not.Would be cool if I could get a cake at this cake shop.EDIT: I see the owner’s response but you can tell from my review that I tried calling several times. Honestly just glad to see the owner is now aware that 3 customer touch points (calling, voicemail, web portal) are non-functional. That’s the business’s failing not mine.
Love their cider donuts!
I understand this is a good place, but my experience was terrible. A sullen young woman took my order for a cappuccino and made me a scalding cafe au lait. The peach coffee cake was inedible. Perhaps I should have ordered ice cream.
Looks YUMMY and I know I'm going to ENJOY
If I could give 0 stars I would. Last week I called and ordered a cake to be picked up today for my daughter’s birthday. When I ordered on the phone, I was told that I had to pay in advance. Today, I went to Corner of Yum to pick up the cake as ordered and was told I had to go to Umami Pizza & Fusion to pick up the cake because that is where they bake the cakes. When I went to Umami Pizza, I spoke with Carole, the owner of Corner of Yum. She said there are no more cakes to be picked up. I explained that I ordered the cake last week and was charged $46 for the cake on June 26th. She stated I believe you but there is nothing I can do for you. I understood that she obviously doesn’t have the cake we ordered and then requested a refund. She said she can’t refund because it’s a different establishment and said I need to speak with Nikki the manager of Corner of Yum and the person working at that time does not know how to do refunds. Then I asked aren’t you the owner and she said yes. “I’m busy with dinner “and “like I said there is nothing I can do for you, you just need to leave.” I left, with no refund and a manager who had no care about resolving this matter. This was the worst customer service I ever experienced, I will never order from this establishment again. Beware, I was reading other reviews and there are others who placed an order for a cake and when they went to pick the cake up there was no cake.
I ordered cupcakes off season for my grandmother’s 90th birthday in January. The shop was closed for winter, but the wonderful owner corresponded with me directly, baked gorgeous cupcakes and delivered them to my grandmother’s house on the cape. Grandma raved about them, and the customer service was excellent.
so tasty. Service has always been great, and their dairy-free options are So GOOD

Carole from Corner of Yum did a great job of providing our wedding cake and cupcakes. She gave us a variety of delicious cupcakes at a very reasonable price. Our display table looked so good, and everything tasted amazing. The apple cider doughnuts were fantastic as well! Very impressed!
Absolutely outstanding! I wish I had taken photos of the brunch I had catered. Not only was the food great, Carole was so easy to work with. We had a baby shower with 32 people. Everyone kept raving about the spread.some of the items we had: quiche, galettes, dill chicken salad sandwiches, Greek salad, crostinis, mason jars filled with peach and strawberry shortcake. Also- not only was the cake beautiful, it was amazingly delicious! I highly recommend Corner if Yum!
We stopped this morning, to take a look at this newish business and very pleasantly surprised! It is really cute and well thought out inside, and conveniently located right on 6A. There is a charming dining area outside for warmer days. We got some good suggestions from the nice young lady behind the counter and purchased some meals to go for later. They we're just the right portion size and packaged attractively. We just managed to resist all of the nicely displayed baked goods...Dennis Village has a wealth of places to get a cup of coffee and a muffin or bagel, and this place is a welcome addition for both vegans and meat eaters - and those who don't care to navigate the stairs at the Underground or the angry staff at the Mercantile.
Butternut Apple soup was delish!
Great food and staff!
