I was with my friend and we rented an Airbnb in Plymouth, but decided to drive to Dennis and luckily stumbled across this fabulous restaurant. The food was divine. I had shrimp scampi never cooked like that before the shrimp almost al dente in a delicious lemony, butter sauce with the linguine, and my friend had the duck which was lean and deliciousservice was excellent extremely friendly and the outside tent is beautiful. If I could fly there again, I would be there in a second and next time I visit the Cape I am booking a reservation.

$48 rack of lamb had maybe two good sized bites of meat - unbelievably small portion of lamb for this price or for any entree- the equivalent of 2 lamb lollipops. Potatoes were dried out. Duck was overcooked. Tuna poke was the winner hands down. Not sure we will be back.

The server kept his sense of humor during crowded bar area. Scallops excellent. Music, tv , buzz of voices may be overstimulating for some . Bring back the bar self sign in blackboard . It worked well last year to eliminate confusion of guests competing for empty seats.

Encore Bar and Bistro's cod hommard was a complete disaster. The cod was so undercooked, it was practically raw in the middle, leaving a slimy texture that made it impossible to swallow. The lobster tasted like it had been sitting out for days. As for the asparagus, it was overcooked to the point of being mushy and tasteless, lacking any hint of freshness or flavor.
