My husband and I recently had our 70th birthday party at Highlands Bunker Bar. We spent months planning with Joel and it all came out perfectly! Joel said we have never done a dinner with a band , well I say - do it again, it was great! We had such fun dancing the night away with 80 people! The food was delicious and the service was incredible! This is such a great venue for a party! We want to personally thank Joel, Nikki, Kat, Jackie and Tony. They provided superb service and were so pleasant to all or guests! Thank you for making our special night so much fun! We’ll be back in 10 years for our 80th!!

I had been here before and never had a bad experience until the evening of the Trivia Fund Raiser. First my order was dropped on the floor BUT, accidents happen so that did not upset me. I was finally served after everyone at the table was finished. We had to go to the bar to pay our checks. My friend paid but, stepped away for a minute so, the bartender put her change in the tip jar. I protested but, he ignored that. My friend returned and I told her what he had done so, she asked him for her change and then tipped him. I didn’t realize how angry this made him until we were leaving a short time later. As I passed his area, he SHOUTED across the room at me , calling me “the rudest person he ever met” “Don’t ever come back!” I hadnt been rude, I only pointed out the tip jar incident. Question…WILL I ever go back?

What a hidden gem! My friend and I went to the driving range and putting green and decided to have lunch as well. Joel was very welcoming and accommodating to us and the other golfers who were dining there. It’s a large room and we sat at a hightop table, views of the course through big windows on three sides of the restaurant. There was an excellent menu and really delicious. We had the Sand Wedge Turkey BLT, which was so good and also served with a side. I had the pasta salad, which had a little zing to it, which I liked, and my friend had the onion rings which came highly recommended and loved them. Wings were great too. Definitely looking forward to going back for lunch or dinner and also try their breakfast.

This is a fantastic restaurant located at the Dennis Highlands. The food is a big step above your average golf course restaurant. The food is very fresh and high quality. The chicken wings are the best! plump fresh and crunchy!

The Highlands Bunker Bar located at the Dennis Highlands Golf Course on Cape Cod id definitely one of the hidden gems on Cape Cod. The Highlands Bunker Bar should most certainly be added as a perfect stop for a quick breakfast sandwich or a full lunch menu. They have a full range of breakfast sandwiches on extra large English muffins, bagels or bulkie roll. They have Top quality burgers, Turkey, clubs, hot pastrami sandwiches as nd the best hot dog on the Cape. The views from the the Golf Course are second to none. There is always plenty of seating either at the bar in the light and airy dining room or the outside patio. Plenty of parking is always available. The managers and staff are friendly and knowledgeable and know the Cape area like no one else. Anything on their menu is top quality and reasonably priced. Check it out, you won't be disappointed

What a great place! TVs are incredible and I love that they have the sound on for the Red Sox! The owner is a great guy who always make sure you have what you need. Had a delicious cup of homemade chili, which was likely the best I’ve ever had and I’m a critic! We also shared a “Sandwedge”, which is turkey bacon lettuce, tomato on toasted light rye. Reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! I love that he cooks the french fries in beef tallow. Exceptional flavor. Not your average golf course restaurant/bar. Check it out for yourself! Oh, and they have yummy breakfast sandwiches too!

The Bunker Bar at Dennis Highlands is an absolute gem. Whether you’re finishing up a round or just stopping in for a casual bite, it’s the perfect place to relax. The views of the course from the bar are beautiful—especially on a sunny afternoon—and the atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back.
The food is exactly what you want after 18 holes: fresh, satisfying, and served quickly. The drinks are cold, reasonably priced, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. Everyone behind the bar was attentive and seemed genuinely happy to be there.
We were also impressed with how clean and bright the space was—plenty of room for groups but still cozy enough to just hang out for a drink. They’ve done a great job creating a spot that works for both golfers and locals.
Looking forward to coming back next time I’m in Dennis. Highly recommend!
