Both our meals, burger and chicken were way overcooked to the point of being burnt. And it was not busy so no excuse for this. Do not recommend this tavern.

We were expecting a delicious meal based on the ratings and ‘voted best’ signs. However, both entrees and appetizers arrived barely warm and overall salty.. When we told the waitress, she simply apologized but didn’t offer to take anything off the bill. Very disappointing.

Food was great, clam straps and eggplant parm. Take out ordering was seamless. Food ready on time. Price was reasonable We loved it!!!
The Baked haddock was overcooked and dry, When we walked in The hostess didn’t even say Hello, she seated us in the front of the restaurant and there was no one else around ! we asked for a booth so we could play and see the Keno screen, she seemed like we’re bothering to her it left a bad taste before we even sat down, our waitress was very nice and very prompt

Had the clam chowder and the KFC sandwich. Chowder cooked to perfection. HUGE piece of chicken. Sandwich was delicious as well. Waiter was great. Friendly and great service. I0/10 recommend.

Dennis locals, here. Service is hit or miss. Tonight, our server was the highlight of our visit! She was friendly and attentive. Maybe we ordered wrong, but the lobster in the lobster roll tasted “fishy”, the gravy on the KFC was bland. Clam chowder was very tasty and my kids never complain about a chicken tender. When we brought it to our servers attention that the lobster rolls tasted fishy, we were told that the lobster was thawed yesterday. Gross! I’ve never had frozen lobster in my life. Maybe that’s what it was supposed to taste like. My husband ate 1/3 of his meal before he gave up and they charged us full price, regardless. I’ll stick to burgers next time, I guess.
