I’ve been coming to Lost Dog for the past 10 years when I’m on the Cape, and it’s my number one spot. I could eat here every night of the week.
The Salmon special is always cooked to perfection and arguably the best salmon dish I’ve ever had.

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and it took a couple minutes to be acknowledged. Service was otherwise quick, but not quite friendly. There were a good amount of choices on the menu, but not much that was unique or exciting. I had a soup and sandwich combo. The fish chowder tasted much better after adding salt and pepper, the turkey sandwich somehow tasted freezer burnt. My friend enjoyed her french-dip style sandwich. 5he french fries were OK. I also heard a table adjacent to us making less-than-exhilarated comments about the quality of the food and drink. The atmosphere is fun, pub-style.

We came to the Cape and drove by The Lost Dog Pub. Excited cause we were here WITH our dog and as we were headed over for dinner I called… and with a name like this they don’t allow dogs… even outside, which is where we planned to eat ??
My wife and I both loved out entrees. She had scallops and I a Philly cheese steak. Both we delicious! The calamari was just ok. It came with a marinara sauce but I feel aoli is a better fit for this dish. We had an amazing server. Wish I could remember her name. Drinks we top notch also. My wife loved her espresso martini and they had a solid beer selection
