Today I went to the Merc at 2:55pm and they close at 3pm, I knew I was taking a chance. The staff was closing up but very politely pointed me towards the grab and go case which was still full of options. I love their ham and cheese croissants, I asked if they had any and one young man stopped cashing out the drawer and went back to look for me. There were none in the back but two in the case that were day old, I was so excited. I brought them home and heated them up. Delicious....

Not quite what it used to be when I used to come here in the 90s - early 2000s, but it is still phenomenal! Their muffins are great, the staff is usually great, and there's plenty of seating.

I order the club merc every time I come, and have yet to be disappointed. Thank you Merc staff!
