Stopped in on a Friday afternoon with a group of 10 and they were so accommodating. Service was great by sweet 80 year old Linda and all the food was awesome. We had a variety of food too from the prime rib sandwich, fish and chips, chili and numerous appetizers. All very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
The “Sand Dollar” is a local joint that moved to this location a few years ago from about a mile away. It is a typical bar/pub with a bar, lots of tv’s, a dining side, music and karaoke at times. We came in mid afternoon on a quiet Sunday. Place was pretty empty. One couple at a high top on the dining side. After driving all day and arriving in town late at night, we had difficulty finding a restaurant whose kitchen was still open. After three other tries, we ended up at Sand Dollar. Their kitchen was also closed, but the bartender offered us pizza slices at the bar. She was kind and friendly, asking us about ourselves. The pizza was very good! While we were chatting about our 9 hour road trip, I mentioned that I had been looking forward to clam chowder, but at least I had all weekend...
