Even though they were pretty busy, we were seated pretty quickly (initially told it would be 20 minutes, it was probably 10-12 mins) even without a reservation. Sweet potato fries appetizer is excellent, steak frites very good, though scallops were just okay. Wasn't a big fan of grapenut custard either but I don't usually care for dessert so its probably just me. Service is very good.

I was very fortunate to enjoy 2 weeks of vacation on Cape Cod this summer, and my girlfriend and I visited Scargo in June and again in August. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal both times. The food is really excellent. We dined inside on one occasion and most recently on the patio. Both are wonderful. Great service too.

This was our only dinner reservation for our vacation week. We were met by a man who helped us with the parking situation explained below. SO NICE! Great service right off the bat and I don't believe that was his role at the restaurant, just happy to help.
Food was immaculate! Very impressed. The bread served at the beginning was great as well. I got the Seafood Strudel as it seemed very unique and not something I've seen on a menu before. It was absolutely delicious! It's a puff pastry filled with Blue crab, shrimp, and sea scallops, served with Newburg sauce. One of my favorite seafood dishes in a very long time.
My only issue was the atmosphere. We were seated at a table for seven in a section of the restaurant that was very dark. Almost everyone had to pull out their phones to turn on flashlights to be able to read the menu. They did end up bringing over a table lamp after the fact, but that should be addressed.
Regardless, I highly recommend Scargo to anyone into Seafood, the food was amazing. Will return.
Parking: Parking can be tight, but there are two additional overflow lots to address that issue. You may need assistance finding the second overflow lot as it's not clearly marked, up the hill from the first overflow lot.

We had dinner tonight here at Scargo. The restaurant is very well considered from the local people, in fact, we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. Meanwhile we waited, we had a cocktail at the bar, which was average and expensive. At the table we enjoyed a wide variety of dishes in the menu and the ones we ordered were very good but not the best we had here around. The service was good too but a little impersonal. The prices are a little too high for the experience we had but in line with this kind of place.

I’ve eaten here many times. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. I finally tried the Mongolian pork chop last night and, my lord, it was absolutely fantastic. I wish I would have ordered this sooner. New favorite entree here!
