I ordered pupu platter for 5, rice and scallions and sent my teen to pick up the order. It was $95 and no receipt was offered and I wasn’t told in advance how much it costs! When I called the place to ask their pricing and point out that it was different online, I wasn’t told told that the menu online was “over 20 years old and can’t be updated”. I told the person that they should have been upfront when I ordered about the cost- small white rice alone was $14 and scallions were $8.25!

I have been a customer for over 25 years and have yet to be disappointed in the meals I ordered or the wait time. For a business to continue for this long, it must be doing something right, don't you agree?

This place has the best Chinese on Cape. This is my opinion. Different strokes for different folks. Someone please tell wannabe ebert over there from two months ago. listen just because the nice lady behind the counter was married. Doesn't mean you can trash talk her and her husband's establishment. Get a life locals love this place. You dont. That sounds like a you problem. Go home to Boston.

Ordered Chow Mein for takeout only to realize when I get home that they gave me Lo Mein. I tried to accept their mistake but Lo Mein wasn’t even good. Noodles are so hard and greasy. Pricy too.

Delicious food cooked by masters. Always a wait but always worth it. Best for take out.

This place is a staple for my family. Very tasty food, the wait time isn't long but it's long enough to know they are cooking it and not just reheating it. I definitely recommend this place for take out or to sit down

I had the #5 lunch special, “for here.” It’s really a takeout place, but my food was served to my table (booth). Given the reviews, I had low expectations. They were met. Pork did have flavor. Egg Roll was pretty good and had a shrimp inside. Chicken Fingers were decent, not soggy and not overcooked. Yes, they were expectedly oily. I chose the Lo Mein over the Fried Rice. It was fine, but nothing memorable.
Honestly this does not deserve a 4 rating. It irks me that “local guides” are allowed to gives 5’s when clearly they are unjustified. I don’t trust their reviews. Although some of the 3’s were local guides, so that tells you all you need to know. I reserve 5’s for the best.
Let’s face it, there is no great Chinese food on Cape Cod. One trip to Quincy will teach you that. I can’t say that I can recommend this place, but I would consider eating their food again. Lastly I say that I believe many people have lost a degree of smell and taste due to you know what.

Ordered egg foo yon, only to find out when I got home the gravy was not in the bag, first time this has happened, never thought of checking only trusted staff to complete order, passing a lesson forward is all.

Nice people but terrible food. The boneless spareribs were so overcooked, they had no flavor and could have been just boiled. I also ordered hot and sour soup and it like wallpaper paste. Even the house fried rice was poor. I’ve had a lot of Chinese food in many restaurants and this was by far the worst tasting food. At least the restaurant was sort of clean.

Fast and tasty Chinese takeout. There are tables for dining in but I've never seen them occupied.

By far the worst Chinese food on the cape! First I call and ask how much is the pu pu platter and the lady on the phone goes, “ tonight I will charge you $29.00” So if I call tomorrow will it be different? The food had zero taste and every single thing I ordered was so over cooked it reminded me of the Christmas vacation where everyone is around the table trying to eat the turkey. I will never go back here again. Such a waste of $100

Kind staff and the best Chinese food in my opinion
The food here is always outstanding! We order a few times a month from Sun On. The prices are very reasonable (we normally spend less than $30 per order) and the service staff are extremely efficient and pleasant. The only con to Sun On is that their dining room could use a little updating - it is a bit dated. However, take into account that this establishment is 99% take-out orders, so the dining room plays a very small role.

It was good but they omitted a soup from my order, yet I was still charged for it.
