This is the best place to have breakfast. The food is great and the staff is wonderful.
I look forward to going there whenever I am on the Cape even on a daily basis :)

This was my first experience at this restaurant. We were seated fairly quickly, however when we sat down for our coffee, the half and half was expired—we did get new ones but the coffee was awful tasting. We then had our meal, I had a ham and cheese omelet, the egg itself was minimal and they added more cheese and ham then the rest (the cheese was old as well). Needless to say, I got sick and will not be coming back—it’s disappointing.

Food was good had the lobster omelet had a little bit of a Strange taste to it but it was also first one either er for me so went with it .size of omelet and amount of home fries was great my wife had pancakes and they were huge and plenty so we both had to go boxes.i would recommend this place.you felt like you were on the cape in there ..the waitress was great always made sure coffee was full a d we didn't have to wait for check.

My wife & I were staying nearby for a wedding this weekend…so I did my normal thing and went to get takeout breakfast: The Breakfast Room was outstanding. Get the egg sandwiches on grilled english muffins, the coffee & the coffee cake muffins are amazing. These were the nicest, friendliest people ive ever met!! You will be happy - and if my wife had been awake at 7am we would have eaten here, but she wasn’t awake yet.

The place is too tight, pancakes are hard, very outdated and the food isn’t good. The pancakes were hard. Staff was very rude. I would not recommend this place. It was very busy so I don’t know if that was why, or if it’s always like this. I won’t go back. go down the street to The Crazy Rooster, Olympia, or the Hearth and Kettle if you want good breakfast food.

Cute little breakfast joint! My fiancé got the strawberry stuffed French toast and practically licked the plate 😂 I just got the regular French toast and it was delicious as well! Our server was quick and friendly. I loved it here.

My family went to The Breakfast Room yesterday and had an amazing experience! We were greeted by such a kind host. Despite how busy it was, they were patient and we were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was phenomenal, we did not feel rushed to order, but when we finally decided what to order from their huge and enticing menu, the food came out so fast! It was hot and delicious. When we went to pay our bill, there was a bit of a line but the cashier was efficient and delightful. One thing that really stood out was how kind and patient all of the staff were, especially when there were some very impatient and quite honestly, rude, customers. They always had smiles on their faces, and treated us so well. We will definitely be back!

We went yesterday for an end of the summer treat, a delicious breakfast! Even though it was very crowded with the occasional impatient customers the staff remained professional courteous, efficient and kind. They provided the outstanding service we have come to know, love and appreciate after returning to the Breakfast Room every summer for many years. The food and service were amazing! Kudos to the staff for handling a busy holiday weekend crowd with patience and professionalism. See you next summer!

Very disorganized place with staff who are disrespectful, hostile and insulting to clients. Host outside with a notebook in their hands won’t greet you or anything but you will have to find out on your own they are the host. Person inside charging the bills will get mad at you and will not provide clear instructions on how to find the host, when you ask them for a table. After I found out who the host was and was waiting outside for my table, I saw the host yell at a group of clients in front of everyone because they were sitting at the table that was available for them but wasn’t set. He YELLED in front of everyone “I told you that the table would be ready when set”. Come back here and wait with everyone”. The clients were so embarrassed and I was shocked. It was the first time I saw clients being treated like that. Then me and my husband sit and the waiter was extremely overwhelmed and gone before I could ask a question or order something else. Our breakfast took a long time to be served and it was not quality food. On our way back, we went back to the lady charging the bills, and after standing in line for 10 minutes, we expected to be our turn to pay the check, and as we were standing in front of her she said “cash?” (Not even making eye contact with me) and I said “we are doing credit card” and she stares at me with an insulting face and doesn’t say a word. Then I ask “are you doing only cash?” and she doesn’t respond again. Then I say “can you please communicate properly and answer my question?” And she says I’m doing card as well as another staff member took my card… I would give zero stars if I could. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want to be insulted from the time you arrive there to the time you try to pay your bill. Extremely toxic place!
