We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Marshside for our son and now daughter in law and everything was outstanding! We had dropped off decor in advance to be set up and when we arrived the tables looked beautiful. We had two servers that were dedicated to our group of 41 and they were so attentive and made the entire evening run seamless. The appetizers were delicious and the presentation was just lovely. Everyone raved about their starter of the seasonal soup or the caesar...
This very large restaurant is very popular among both tourists and locals, but I'm not exactly sure why because it is it is often crowded and rather long waits are required since they do not accept reservations for less than six. And at times the large parking lot is filled and you must park along the street. Having learned our lesson from a prior attempt, we went very early. There was a wait, however, because the rather unsociable hostess was taking large party reservations...
I have been meaning to try Marshide for awhile and decided to stop in last night — so glad I did!!! I ordered the Chicken Francese and it was delicious. Service was great and the view of the marsh out the window at sunset was amazing! Will definitely be back soon!
