Staff was wonderful. Oysters and shrimp were great but the food was not good. Extremely salty, the cod had so much breadcrumbs that you could not find the fish and the risotto was not fully cooked. We sat at the bar and watched the owner come in empty the till, grab a bottle of liquor from the bar and leave telling the staff he’d be back later. Would not recommend this spot.

We showed up 5 minutes before closing time Sunday night and the restaurant was welcoming and took great care of us. The food was great and our service even better. Oscar was our server and was very attentive, knowledgeable and professional from start to finish. He is a great asset to the restaurant……highly recommend

We had an unbelievable experience at the oyster Company. We celebrated a special birthday and enjoyed the seafood tower, sashimi oysters, Bronzino, and the cioppino. Everything was excellent and beyond our expectations. Service was excellent also. We can’t wait to come back.

With a name like The Oyster company the oysters better be good. And they are!
I split 12 of the l classic- raw oysters and 12 of the sashimi oysters. I was expecting more tuna on each one for the sashimi oyster. They had 1-2 tiny tiny cubes of tuna on each sashimi oyster.

We have been enjoying a wonderful meal here for our yearly Cape outing for some time but was disappointed last night. Ordered the pan seared scallops and substituted the risotto with the scallop potatoes I love. The sea scallops were extremely thin and over cooked with too much seasoning and my potatoes were not even warm, their temperature was cool at best. Truly it was as if the sea scallops were sliced horizontally in half to fill the order. I should have told our waiter and send it back but I didn’t want my party to wait for me. This place can and has done better.

The food is delicious, vibe is friendly and warm, highly recommend! We had a big party and a complicated reservation across a few different tables, and the host, Kirsten, took amazing care of us - she sat some of us early when she had the table ready, and just generally made the night really smooth and wonderful for our entire group. Thank you, we'll be back!

We recommend the lobster roll, the tuna entree, and almost anything that catches your fancy.

Also, we had one celiac / gluten allergy person and the menu is VERY friendly for GF, the staff was knowledgeable about avoiding cross-contamination.

I have always enjoyed the liquid in oysters served on the half shell. The Oyster Company serves them dry. Tonight I asked my server to please bring oysters with the natural liquid inside.... but that didn't work either. Still dry. I have observed this during many visits to the Oyster House. I will never ever order oysters at the Oyster House again. Nope. Not for me.

For 20 years, I have been coming to the Oyster Company for dinner on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The reservation was made two weeks in advance for 6 PM. We arrived and were told there was no reservation. We were spoken to as if we were intruders and not wanted.
I will Never step foot in The Oyster Company again.

My husband and I have been going here for years. And tonight did not disappoint. Oysters were off the hook great. Our server, Kaylee, was great. And our food awesome. I had linguini with white clam sauce, my husband, Eric, had the linguini with the red clam sauce and ordered it spicey. We loved it and both were piping hot. Cheers to the chef and the kitchen team. They were hopping busy and everything was great. We highly recommend it. Make a reservation!

We come here 2-3 times a year, whenever we visit the Cape. Service is always hit or miss, but this was the biggest miss we’ve ever had. Our server was rude, the tuna was served well done instead of very rare as requested (and as it should be cooked), swordfish was also very well done and tasteless. Drinks took 35 mins. Pasta tasted reheated and watery. All in all terrible experience. Sadly, since this used to be a favorite, this was the final time we will be going.

From the time we were greeted to the end of leaving and saying goodbye, it was an absolute memorable experience. Mario and the chef were some of the most kind happy warm hearted people I have ever met. The food portions were generous and quality was absolutely amazing. The oysters came right off the shell, the lobster roll were thick, chunky and super crunchy. Filled with flavor, we had to try the blueberry coconut bread pudding that was Mario’s personal recipe. The flavor combo complimented each other smoothly. The outer part of the bread was crispy and crunchy with the inside being a fluffy soft delicious pillow. Added with vanilla ice cream for a cherry on top. I’m looking forward to going back for round 2!!!

First visit...came to try the Happy hour half off oysters. With some places charging $4 per you can't beat the $1.50 price for these fresh tasty treats.
Also ordered the rack of lamb that was also marvelous and well worth the price.
Hope to visit again soon...
