I have been disappointed over, and over again with my take out. I have had overcooked food, undercooked food or many times I never get the food the way I ordered. I asked for a BBQ chs burger with sweet potato fries and no lettuce. What i got was a regular cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato with bbq sauce on the side . There were no onion rings or bacon which is listed on the menu as what is included to make it the bbq chs burger. The restaurant is so close to where I live. It is convenient for me. I am tired of complaining. I get nothing by complaining. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TAKEOUT ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE. 1712 please fix this issue so that maybe I can return.

We had an impromptu get-together with 12 people for a late dinner they rearranged and were very adaptive to set up for us, fantastic group fun place to have dinner the also have a bar side with live music weekends

Server was good. Waited a bit too long for food that arrived over cooked. Only good thing is we weren't charged for the two bad meals. This was our second time at the 1712 with the same experience. We will NOT BE RETURNING.

Went to see Aches and Pains Great food and a amazing time.
Three of us came in at 8:40 for a beer and a pizza after working on a boat at Shaw's boatyard. We were told the kitchen was closed, so we ordered a beer. 30 minutes later, 2 parties of other customers walked in and were served food. Asked the bartender and she just kept repeating "it's not my rule". Seems the kitchen was only open for regulars. They can have it, we won't be back.

Service was extremely slow. And it wasn't busy. The food was pretty good. Makes drinks not so good.Kind of dark inside with decorations that felt like Christmas. People are nice I'd like to go back. I would give it another try but it definitely needs to be not so dark and dingy inside

It’s a bit out of the way, but if you’re a local person or within 10 miles, it’s great place to go. The foods always good, and then this particular night they had great entertainment.
