First time here, and it was a hit. All the food we had was great, and the service was great too. I just finished my leftover pork chop, and even after microwaving it, it was awesome and I nearly gnawed on the bone. The scotch bonnet pepper hot sauce was a great addition too. Drink menu was good and my wife said her eggplant salad (though not really called a salad??) was literally the best salad she has ever had.

Met... Diplaw and he invited me to come and try out the CK! Nothing less than perfect! The duck was perfectly cooked and the beef dish was fantastic! Definitely would go again and again!
This place is a treasure! Four of us had brunch in early December and loved every minute of the experience. The food was delicious, using African spices and everything piping hot from the kitchen. The staff was attentive and seemed to derive pleasure from seeing our enjoyment. I had shrimp and grits - I highly recommend.

Such an amazing experience! I went with no expectations and left with one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! The staff were friendly and professional, the space was intimate with beautiful yet simple decor, and the food was 10/10! Highly recommend the CK Fish Chowder and the Okra, so delicious!

Fantastic, creative food and drinks in a friendly, cozy setting.
Finally made it to Comfort Kitchen after having it on my list for a while. The restaurant has a cool backstory and the location adds to the whole vibe. Started with the Sour Sumac which was really good. The Okra was a nice surprise, full of flavor and not slimy at all which is rare. Jerk Duck was tender and the seasoning was on point. Sat at the bar and got to watch the kitchen do their thing which was fun. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the wait for a table, even with a reservation. But the food definitely lived up to the hype.

Food was delicious - just bursting with flavor! I had the fish chowder which was much more than a chowder and hubby had the goat curry wh h he loved. Everyone was super friendly and attentive - no complaints there. One downside: not a big wine selection and $20 for a very small pour per glass is excessive. Drinks are pricey and small. You're there for the food though. Will def go back to try other items on the menu.

Go here right now! Husband and I sat at the bar and were waited on by friendly, informative bartender. Cocktails were inventive, the menu was both meat and veg packed and FULL of flavor. Spices and perfectly cooked apps, snacks and mains. Everyone on staff was friendly and it felt like we were in someone's home. Just loved it and we'll go back again hopefully soon!
