We got a cake from Nancy Party for the first time to do a private gender reveal for our first baby. We had my sister in law order the cake for us so it would be a surprise for us.
We went to collect the cake and as we were looking at the cake for the first time we immediately saw two bright pink dots on the top of the cake. We tried to brush it off and thought it might be part of the design, although we specifically asked for an all white cake with the inside to be pink or blue… When we took the cake home and got it set up to do our private gender reveal, we noticed a third pink dot on the side of the cake.. When we cut into the cake it was pink, we were obviously happy however the surprise was completely ruined as there were 3 obvious mistakes on the cake that gave away the gender.
I contacted Nancy Party the following day expressing my upset, appreciating it was a beautiful cake and tasted delicious, however ultimately our surprise gender reveal was immediately ruined due to their lack of quality control and checking the cake before saying it was ready to collect. We paid $95 for this professional cake. When I shared the feedback and the photos of the errors, all they said was ‘sorry’ and that it was pink glitter…
I expressed that I did not feel the cake should be $95 when the error was their fault and they ruined our gender reveal surprise due to lack of quality control (the two pink dots on the top are immediately noticeable when you read the text on the top of the cake) They replied with that they don’t do refunds.
I said I did not expect a full refund but some compensation for acknowledgement of ruining our surprise due to their errors and they doubled down saying they don’t do refunds.
Therefore, I would NOT recommend getting a gender reveal cake from Nancy Party, they seem to do beautiful cakes for birthdays and special occasions, but the lack of quality control and accountability for their mistakes, and to not offer any compensation when we paid for a professional service/cake for it to be ruined, I would not wish anyone else to go through the same experience as us.

Totally giving 5 stars to this spectacular establishment and its delicious cakes, sweets and snacks ?????my daughter was delighted with that spectacular dough and that design just as she requested, its vanilla and caramel flavor, an exquisite touch!!!! There was nothing left of this cake, we will not hesitate to take a trip like this a thousand times to look for this cake ? ?? Thank you ??

I came to Boston to visit family for Labor Day weekend 2023. We met Nancy and her husband. On the last day in Boston came to their cake shop. Cake slices beautifully displayed but previously cut in plastic to go boxes. I asked for all fresh made piece the young lady said all was fresh. I asked for 7 slices but did not get 2 of the moose cakes. I bought 5 slices I hope at $7 each. Mrs Nancy gave a chocolate cookie. All was stale (old) and hard. Our mother could not eat. That was a Waste of our time and money. She needs to learn how to keep them fresh before cutting cakes ? for clients. Mrs Nancy is Friendly and creative but poor business. Most bake shops place old for $1 or $2 and fresh for full price. Not $7 for hard stale cake slices. This is written with love for the families involved. Love always with God’s grace and understanding.

Nice decor, but pastries are not freshly made daily. They must sit there for a while because when I ordered a few different flavors, they tasted really hard and stale. The flavors just wasn’t there. I came back and told them I wanted to return, at first they tried to deny the return and then admitted they did not know how to do a cc return ? great ??♀️! I do not recommend!
