The best beginner spot in Dorchester for Pho enthusiasts or first timers. Lovely staff, beautiful atmosphere, and quick service. My pho came out in about 2 minutes on a Saturday evening. Very much foreigner friendly. I ordered the 38 - beef flank and stripe Pho. 9/10 just needs more veggies.

We ordered tofu spring rolls, pho chay, and pho tai nam. The flank was fatty and flavorful, but the broth, while decent, wasn’t outstanding. The noodle portions were quite small.

Usually pretty good food and service, but occasionally inconsistent.

Parking: very small lot behind the restaurant (look at the signs though as the lot is shared between two businesses) but there is also street parking. just depends when you are there.

They made me wait one hour and 20 mins for my take out order. The waitress wanted to give us an attitude and not check on our order after we spoke with the manager. I asked the waiter telling him I’ve been waiting inside for thirty mins and then 5 mins later I got my order. It was ridiculous. They wanted to charge me 6 skewers for $45. When it usually comes with 2 skewers per order and I ordered 6 orders. So I’m missing 6 more. They tried to skimp out on half my order and wanted to tell me that it’s only one per order. When I’ve been getting 2 per order each time I do take out. Then the waitress kept trying to argue with me when the manager already said it was all set. Then the manager comes and tried to say the same thing but gives me my order after an hour and 20 mins and say it’s one per order next time. And I said 6 skewers for $45? I could’ve just got the seven course beef for way more. Like $45 for 6 skewers and you made me wait for an hour and 20 mins. There’s no next time. That’s insane. They lost a customer just because they wanted to save $21 dollars by not giving me half my other order the first time and made me wait ridiculously long.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in Boston! Pho Hoa is actually chain and has many locations so I knew it would be a reliable spot. The pho is pretty good. I’ve tried their other Vietnamese dishes as well and they always come out just as delicious!

I had seven course beef as well as some drinks. The seven course beef here is comparable to other places in Dorchester. However, I do think their serving is slightly bigger. Overall, all the courses were great. We also ordered an avocado smoothie and a coconut pineapple smoothie. Both were good as well.

I will never come back again, the owner of this restaurant is cunning and greedy.
The food is average, but the service is bad. I walked out of this place with a bad taste in my mouth.
My wife ordered a “Combination Rice”, I ordered a Pho Xe Lửa. The waitress was a young Vietnamese woman who could barely speak any English. With a very heavy ascent, she asked me a question which I didn’t understand and had to ask her to repeat, slowly she said “do you want to add a big bowl ? (to share the noodles with my wife ). “Oh!” I politely replied “yes please”. At the end of the meal when the bill came, there was an extra charge of $3.98 for “beef meatball”. I questioned why the extra charge for one tiny piece of beef ball the size of a grape, the waitress said “you ordered it”. She said I asked you “do you want to add a beef ball ?”……”It’s already in the computer, you have to pay!”.she said. Sneaky practice!
