I’ve gotten seafood boil and their fried fish platters often! This place does not disappoint and stay consistent! Highly recommended!

this was very disappointing, i went there and as soon as she greeted me, she gave me attitude and just threw the plates onto our table. that made me and my family feel unwelcome in this atmosphere. my youngest sister felt uncomfortable and was fidgeting like crazy. after we paid even more than the amount she charged us, the lady with the bob cut chased us out and said we didn’t tip her when we gave her a few extra dollars. I understand that might not be a lot, but for her service i don’t think she deserved a dollar more than what we gave her.

When we went into the restaurant, she gave us a dirty look, the girl with the bob haircut. Then I believed she started talking bad about us in her own language. Customer service was so bad, for example she threw plates at us trying to serve us. I was very upset. Would never recommend. There were also children at the table.

ALWAYS my first choice for seafood boil and its ALWAYS good. The special sauce is 10/10. Portions are a great value. Spice is 🔥. I dont usually eat in cause its a small space but extremely clean 👌

Horrendous service, placed an order and had to wait over an hour for it, handed me my bag with attitude? after waiting for the hour.

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend

I had a really disappointing experience at Shaking Seafood. From the moment I sat down, the customer service was off. I was shocked to find out I had to pay $4 just to sit at a table — something I’ve never encountered at a restaurant before. On top of that, I was charged an extra $5 just to eat ‘crab’ that I had already paid for. It honestly felt like they were just looking for ways to nickel-and-dime customers.

To make things worse, the service was extremely unprofessional. Our waitress rolled her eyes multiple times during our visit and had a rude, condescending attitude the entire time — not just toward us, but toward other customers as well. It made the whole experience uncomfortable and frustrating.

The food might be mediocre but it’s hard to enjoy a meal when you’re being overcharged and disrespected. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dining experience.

For the many years I've lived in Dorchester. This is the first time visiting chicken and seafood. I was pleasantly surprised by the experienced and we totally enjoyed our food.
