I've stopped in a few times in the past 4 years and enjoyed the food here, but this morning's visit was the exact opposite.Out with a friend looking for a breakfast place on Lakeview Ave, I recommended we stop there. It was 9am and the place was empty except for 1 person sitting at the counter. I ordered the Sausage Gravy Benedict with home fries, and my friend ordered 2 Jumbo French Toast.I was shocked when they put down her plate. There was ZERO Jumbo about it. It looked like they fried up Wonder Bread's Giant bread cuz it was square, but so tiny. I took one bite of the home fries and had to spit it out into a napkin. They tasted like last week's supply. My eggs were barely cooked. I had tilted my plate to let the gravy run off the eggs, and that's where I saw the whites of the eggs were running off with the gravy. I pulled the sausage patties out and ate them with my overkill on the sugar Hot Chocolate. We both left hungry.Waitress was efficient but certainly not warm or welcoming. Atmosphere was SO DARK! The lights inside were barely on, and now we know why! They don't want you to see what they're serving you! It's unfortunate that not to long ago their food was really good: solid breakfast food. Now, price is not on point for what they serve.

They have gambling which lots of people like, but I'd rather not eat where there's gambling. Just the way I feel.

Seated fast and served fast but the food was just meh. Coffee was burnt, kielbasa was dry, home fries too salty, and pouched eggs were too watery. There are better breakfast spots around town.

Terrible experience. The food sucks. They charge for soda refills. We waited almost 50 minutes for a chef salad and sausage burrito. We would have been better off at IHOP. I wouldn't even come back for a free meal. And I love free.
