Arrived at restaurant with friends for an early evening dinner over w/e. We were promptly seated and told waitress with be with us shortly. It took a while for her to get to us but that gave us time to check out the menu. The pricing on the menu was confusing so when the waitress finally arrived we asked for clarification. Whoever designed menu could have done a better job. We all asked for water and waitress said she would be back shortly. When she returned we again asked her to clarify menu pricing, We asked for bread and again she said she would be back shortly. It took a while but when she returned we placed our orders. We also told her we would like separate checks. Also interesting to note, there was only one slice of bread for person. It took a while for food to arrive. We asked for water refills at this time and more bread. Waitress refilled water. Food arrived shortly after along with more bread. Food looked good. Upon tasting we found that the food was not hot, just warm. We were hungry so we didn't say anything. Food was okay, nothing exceptional. When we were done we patiently waited for the waitress to appear again. We could have used more water and wanted take out containers for our leftovers. We continued to wait and finally I asked another young lady for take out containers and bills. She brought containers and said waitress would be with us shortly. Waited again and no waitress. I got up and asked someone at counter for our bills because we still hadn't seen waitress. Was told she was right in back and would be with us soon. Waited again and still no waitress. Went to counter again complaining. Finally waitress shows up with bills. After checking bills two of us questioned $1.99 charge for parmesan cheese. We were told that because we ordered a side of eggplant parm instead of just 'eggplant' there was a charge of $1.99 to add the cheese. Went back to the counter to complain and said we would never dine there again. We waited over 1/2 hr. just to get the bill. Waitress seemed overwhelmed and not totally experienced. Maybe they assigned her too many tables, although there were a few empty tables in our area. Maybe they were short staffed, but still no reason for poor service.

Got the parmesean crusted steak special. Was a great steak ruined by bread crumbs. But the server was great, and the food was good otherwise. Will definitely try again.

A big thank you to Scola's for helping me plan a group lunch in their private dining room for a group of 25 people. They were very flexible about setting up the table in our preferred arrangement (big U shape), and had fantastic menu options so that we had options for even our pickiest eaters. Their event coordinator was very professional, and the pricing was very good (less than expected for such a large group). Also we have 2 people with severe shellfish allergies, and I was very impressed by their rigor around avoiding any cross contamination.

I did a takeout order and to be honest the portion was extremely small and the price was seven dollars more there than online what it said, There was hardly any ziti mostly sauce, and there was way too much garlic

Disgusting trashy tomato sauce full of sugar and cheap, poor quality tomatoes. Horrible. Just threw out 90% of the family size chicken parm dinner. My wife agrees it’s the worst most sugary sauce shes ever had.

Food was really good came out hot fresh and tasty, presentation was good. Good portions. Waitress was awesome very friendly. We were planning a party and she helped us with our catering needs as well. so just to throw in there we ordered food for a party which was also delicious. Well prepared and packaged for pick up. Overall, I would say, Scola’s is an excellent restaurant, and would go back again! Its also great for catering if you need something for a party or event!

Was disappointed, no cold beer, no real grated cheese, or pepper mills and food was so so. Won't go again, this use to be very good but has declined.

Well I had a long time wishing to go here… very nice atmosphere but very disappointed with the food. The g ñoquis plate is horrible and the Marsala chicken it was in a sweet and sour sauce that I really hate it, I ve been eating Marsala in other restaurants and this was totally different. Very good service and accesible prices.

So today I ordered lunch from Scolas I was hesitant, last time I ordered it was ok. Today everything was so good! Chicken was yummy, sandwiches were on point and the flat bread was delicious! If you haven’t been in a while give it a try! Thank you Scolas lunch was great!

Had lunch there today and the food was amazing and service impeccable. I mean this lasagna was really good. Chicken marsala was amazing. The young lady serving us said she just started but you couldn't tell she was really good I mean I have no idea where they found help like her in this market but they better keep her

I don’t know what happened.Used to buy the family fish and chips meal and it fed the family. Now you buy it, you get about 12 fish nuggets and all French fries. Chicken nuggets are larger than what was given to me. Not worth the 55 dollars. It was a great meal for the price now if the family wants fish I’ll go to the pizza club. Give more bucks and pizza club gives you a large portion of haddock with fires and coleslaw.
