Disappointed. Came in at 7:20pm on a Saturday night with my husband and 5 year old son. The ONLY table in the dining room. Service was slow but we are patient and understanding. My son started getting impatient and crying that he was hungry for his food in which was understandable as it had been 45 minutes since we ordered. At 8:15PM the waitress informed me she forgot to place our food. They close at 8:30… she brought his Mac n cheese over at 8:20 and forgot that he had a side of fries with his kids entree. Needless to say our food was thrown together and boxed for takeout. The bill was $75, there was no discount for their mistake and the food was trash. Also an old man leaving the bar stopped by our table to make a rude comment upfront of my 5 year old. Disgusting! This was the worst experience I have ever had dining out and I’m very frustrated this place can run a business this way. Robbed of time and money and absolutely pissed off with the service and lack of respect. I honestly can’t believe we just lost money for a dinner that I couldn’t eat. Never again.

Only customers in dining area, Waited 1hr No food. After waiting patiently, I had to get up and look for an employee. After tracking someone down, I was told it would be right out. After growing impatient, another 30 minutes went by. Instead of rudely walking out, i ask for the tab and for it to go. They charged me full price and apologized for the wait. Food was terrible.
Tonight was the icing on the cake for us with Firebrands as it was my third negative experience there. My husband and I went with our young children. Getting drinks didn’t take too long but waiting for the waitress to come back to take our appetizer order was a joke. So much time had passed that we decided to just order entrees because we knew we’d be there all night otherwise. Kids both requested the chicken nuggets with oranges. They received chicken TENDER pieces instead of nuggets (which used to be delicious, the tenders are mediocre). They also weren’t offered any ketchup or sauce until I asked. Then my husband and I proceeded to wait maybe ten more minutes for our food. Once that came (kids were basically done), his smash burger was ice cold. Like literally felt like they just took it out of the fridge. My baked haddock was cold/dry as well. It was so bad that we had to send it back. The time prior, maybe two months ago, i ordered a truly and was advised they had no seltzers. But then the waitress changed her mind and said they had sun cruisers. I said I’d try that, she brought it and it was WARM. I drank it anyway bc it took her forever to come back over for me to get something else. When she came back, idk, 30 min later, I decided on a glass of Chardonnay (bc that’s always cold, right)? NOPE. That too was warm. The service was slow and also, they charged $8 for a warm seltzer even after I had told them it was warm. They “couldn’t take it off the bill” bc I had drank it, but yet again, it was all I had to drink due to poor, slow service. Finally, maybe 3 months ago, we went and also had SLOW SERVICE. I ordered a California Cobb salad which came with no avocado. I said something, the waitress admitted she KNEW they were out, and just didn’t mention it when I ordered. Like it was “no big deal” when it’s literally one of the main ingredient’s. My husband also received COLD French onion soup that night. They obviously don’t really care about their customers. If you know you’re out of something, especially a main ingredient or part of a meal, like avocado on a COBB salad, or actual CHICKEN NUGGETS, tell your customer so they can order something else! Don’t just wing it and hope they don’t notice. Shame on you! I’m sad with how downhill this restaurant has gone bc we had been going there for years and years without issue which is why I refrained from writing this review until now. With all of that being said, I do want to give a huge shout out to waitress Laura, who we absolutely love and when she is there, there has never been an issue. She’s amazing and I hope Firebrands management realizes that they’re lucky to have someone like her working for a place like I have just described.
We were the only 4 people in the place except for the bar and we waited a bit long for 2 beers and water. The waitress was personable. The ribeye was delicious. Everyone liked the meLs.

Service was so slow, after over an hour our food came out, COLD! 1 of the entrees had a pile of salt under the fires (how they even sent that to us is beyond me) The haddock had more batter then fish and half of the batter was not cooked throughly.
My Sister and I stopped in for a beer and an appetizer we had the most wonderful time with our waitress Jenna . The appetizer was amazing as we ordered the duck. My sister and I will be returning as the atmosphere was extremely pleasant and very helpful and friendly. I Thank you for your kind hospitality ???

I have curbside takeout so I can't say what the atmosphere is like, but I have never had a bad meal there. Most recently had the seafood platter and sautéed pork chops. Generous portions and fresh. I'd recommend.

I went to firebrands with my friend this afternoon. I ordered the soup, salad and sandwich combo for 12$. The soup was a turkey noodle and it was the saltiest tasting soup I've ever eaten. For a salad, I ordered the Caesar and it was actually really delicious. For my main dish, I ordered fish and chips and it was absolutely disgusting. The fish was overcooked with a hard exterior. I will never be ordering that again if I go there to eat. The drinks i ordered were just alright. I had a chocolate espresso martini that didn't have enough alcohol in it and a strawberry margarita that was pretty good.
My best friend came with me and she also didn't enjoy her food very much. She ordered a Caesar salad also, but the lettuce in hers was wilted and disgusting looking. She couldn't eat it. The clam chowder she had was delicious, however. She had also ordered her daughter mac and cheese and they served kraft mac and cheese which is absolutely disgusting in my opinion. They charged way too much for kraft that you can make at home.
Very disappointed.

We came on easter just for a couple apps and the deviled eggs they had on special for the day. The food was great. We had the big mac egg rolls and maple bacon bourbon chicken tenders for apps. Service was a little slow so couldnt tell if it was because it was a holiday but from reading the reviews it seems to be a normal thing. I would definitely go back and try one of their many dinner dishes! Prices are average for the area. Think they just need more staff
