We decided last minute to visit East Village Tavern. Our server Jasmine was exceptional. Our food, service and overall experience was wonderful. Matt who appeared to be a manager and or owner visited our table and wanted to ensure everything was perfect. I can't say enough about our experience here and highly recommend East Village Tavern.

This is a place you come to when you have absolutely no time restrictions, and don't mind that it takes 45 minutes to get your food. When it's busy it gets really loud and hard to hear the people at the table. The food was just ok. Ordered the cod tacos and the corn tortilla was cold and it broke apart into pieces as I tried to lift the taco so I ended up having to eat it with a knife and fork. Also ordered wings and those were ok in taste but seemed overcooked as they weren't really moist. Service was good but they were definitely understaffed for the amount of people that were there. My overall feeling is that even though it wasn't terrible, it wasn't great either, don't know if I'd go back.

East Village Tavern is one of our top choices to either grab something to eat/drink at the bar or enjoy dinner with another couple.I feel like the bartenders really love their job, they make it a fun experience.The food is great and they have a nice rotation of specials.I’m a fan.

Parking lot was packed, so I wasn't sure I'd find a seat, but was seated at a table right away when I went in. Super cute place. Lots of sound dampening material in the ceiling and wooden walls, so even though the place was full, it wasn't crazy loud. Ordered the EVT burger which was AMAZING. Definitely way more than I expected out of this place. Burger and toppings were fresh. Bun was toasted and caramelized. The garlic aioli really made the burger for me. So tasty. Fresh cut French fries, garlicky pickle on the side. Truly delicious meal with prompt service. Absolutely recommend this place.

Amazing Ruben. Stoped by on a Saturday night for an early dinner the found was great and love the atmosphere!
Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. Not a bad menu. Favorite bar foods. Prepared well and served hot. Drinks were good too. Bar is nice and they have Keno. The service was great. We would return for sure.

Great little place!!! Best nachos I have had in a while!! The Sweet Chili wings were crispy and awesome!! Burgers cooked perfect!! Harriet our server was very pleasant.This is a local hangout, we will be back
