Exceptional experience! When I came in, I was immediately greeted and helped by the terrific staff. My food was great. The staff made my day and I would go back for that reason.

My food was excellent. A favorite when I go to Friendly’s is the Fishamagig Platter (meal)BUT my major complaint is and has been, the switching of prices and a rehearsed repertoire of excuses, if the first few don’t get the customer GONE. The platter, which the confused waitress only knew as a ‘meal’, advertised as $9.00, charged me $12.99. Mind you, this as NOT the first time, nor the second……. times I’ve been there that they have snuck that ‘error’ in. They call the $12.99 a senior deal (suppose to include ice cream). It was out on me that I didn’t ask for the luncheon $9.00 special, but I neither did I asked for the senior meal. The initial excuse was; waitress hit the wrong key. Quoted by the waitress and manager a few times, and when. i challenged that a historical claim they have made in the past, they told me it was my responsibility to identify the right choice when ordering the meal. Fyi, the bill came much after i was asked if i wanted dessert, so senior luncheon menu special was not even the choice, but I was charged the $12.99. So to shorten this all up I will not list the ALL the excuses I was given by an annoyed manager when she was called out.
I do want to make anyone going there that this may be a secret policy they try to sneak in when you are not looking, BUT I AM CERTAIN IT IS FOCUSED ON SENIORS, in hopes they will not notice the upcharge. They get many seniors there.
SHAME ON YOU FRIENDLY’s for allowing this.

I had a turkey supermelt with fries as you can see the sandwich looks beautiful but it was hard as a rock the turkey hard to bite into when i said something the young lady just said i can give you a discount like i want an edible sandwich is what i want. Anywho thr fries were cold but the mini mozzarella sticks were good. The young lady only came to check on us once mind you i see going to the other tables multiple times, my friend order a regular grill cheese tell me why it had bacon 🤦♀️we never got that discount by the way or a fresh sandwich when the bread is lightly toasted but hard that means tge bread is old. I forgot the ice cream was great so

Went for dessert following a Big E visit and money burn. Our service was good. The ice cream was excellent as always. I always liked Friendly's, its too bad they got off track from their roots and started closing stores as a result.

Place is a dumpster fire. No one is actually running this place, despite the long term “manager”. You will be sure to be ignored from the time you walk in the door. 4PM not a single customer in the building besides us 2… seated. Only server doing something on a computer. Person who sat us is also the cook. Manager on the phone walking around the restaurant complaining loudly about some 3 deliveries she got. Not one person acknowledged us. Not enough staff but the cook was able to help all the door dash and to go orders. The sad thing is, this store will be closing soon. It’s only a matter of time. Empty parking lot, always looks closed and for YEARS now- deal with the same issue we did today. This store in particular has the ability to be a profitable store but it is run so incredibly poorly by people who don’t care. I will end this with the fact that the cook and manager laughed when they saw us leaving today. No “I’m so sorry, we will be right with you” no apology, no “there’s a little wait but we will be right there”. Just simply annoyance that we were there to begin with. It was busy, even at 2PM, but I spent far too much time looking at the table in front of me that wasn't cleared. The food was not good. The fries seemed like they were from the bottom of the bag, and the lettuce on the BLT was limp. They've really gone downhill!

I ordered a doordash order for a captins dish and was sad to open it and find they did not put my sauce with the order. the food was good but i wish they included the sauce i payed for.
