We went in and ordered coffee and sat down. The serving woman kept giving us nasty looks. My mother finally asked her if she had a problem with us sitting there while we waited for a friend and the serving woman nastily told us this was a full service dining room and (Only one other table was occupied)we could go sit in back. Which was our pleasure but we were made to feel very unwelcome and would never go back.

What a great place with good food and pleasant people! We found this place after a bike ride on the rail trail. We were referred somewhere else but it was closed so we searched & found this. It was about 2 pm & they close at 2:30 so we hurried over. The staff was helpful & friendly and the food was great! They have beer & mimosa’s which was a nice surprise. I had a sandwich on fresh bread and it was delicious. We would definitely recommend this for breakfast or lunch

Fantastic lunch spot! The sandwiches and coffee were delicious. I added a cup of fruit to my panini and all of the fruit was perfectly ripe. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

We ordered lunch from there today and I got the Turkey Panini . I have to say this is probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. .Everything was very fresh and sooo good !! The price was great and the sandwich was big !! New favorite place !!!

Orleans breakfast cafe, coffee shop, pastry store. Had to close temporarily in winter 2023 due to frozen pipes, but we're able to reopen, and I am so glad!Have been in a couple of times for basic hot breakfast - eggs, toast, sausage, home fries - with a child who gets either pancakes or French Toast. Everything served quickly, hot, fresh, and with a smile. Coffee was good.The seating could be more comfortable, and I don't really get why the WiFi is only for half the patrons, but otherwise, spot on.The pastries are also lovely. Have had a cupcake the size of a baby's head, a few muffins, and a tart - all were flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend. Will take pictures at next visit.Oh, they also offer a take-out service I haven't tried, in which you order online and your order waits for you by the door. FWIW.
Whisk is a cute cafe in Orleans that was conveniently located on a busy street next door to an ice cream place and where we were staying. We dined in for breakfast once and returned for take out twice. The take out service was extremely slow, close to a 15-minute wait for an iced coffee and a couple of premade pastries (so don’t come here if you’re in a mad rush like we were). The pastries were delicious though and highly recommend the croissants.

My absolute favorite go-to for breakfast or lunch. A warm, charming, rustic family run restaurant with excellent salads - all fresh garden ingredients, home made baked goods, delicious panini, locally brewed beer and locally roasted coffee. There's nothing to improve on unless they open up 24/7!!
