Surprised to see the place so empty on a Saturday evening but selfishly it was nice. Sat at the bar and had a great meal and good wine. Love that they switch up the menu with the seasons but hate that they don't have any boards now. Loved to pop in for an easy app and drink but options for that aren't great now.

I have never written a review about a restaurant before, but felt compelled to do so after the incredible experience my guests and I received at the “Beacons Restaurant” Walpole Ma . This was my sons wedding rehearsal dinner. I chose Beacons because of its stellar reputation. First off, the decor was warm, rustic and cozy just as I anticipated . Jennifer, the owner, had given me plenty of time to set up, decorate, and she graciously assisted me in doing so. Regarding the food, all I can say is it was absolutely fabulous ! Chef John did an incredible job. The appetizers were phenomenal, and the entrees were delicious and a perfect temperature at that. Everyone kept mentioning to me about how amazing everything was ! Danielle, the bartender, was extremely professional and did a great job while also enjoying the evening. Kylee was a great server, very attentive and right on top of every request that I asked for. The evening ended with music, dancing, and lots of fun. As I had said before the warm atmosphere, professional staff, and scrumptious food were absolutely top notch in every way. I simply cannot say enough about the Beacons Restaurant and I would give this restaurant my highest possible recommendation to anyone that is planning a function of any type. Thank you all! You made the evening a night to remember!!!!!!

Food is pretty typical Massachusetts suburban restaurant. It’s fine. Never quite feels worth it. Chicken risotto was eh. Pear salad was ok. Service was excellent. Great beer selection which is nice. It’s exactly what I would have expected, except the reviews on here make it sound like it stands out. It does not.

My NY Sirloin was very mediocre. My wife's meal was good, my sister's meal was ok. Mushroom bread appetizer was excellent. Service was very good, loved the look of the place. The people were very nice and helpful. But, the prices did not match the quality of the food, little sticker shock at the final bill. I would definitely hang out here for drinks and appetizers, but I wouldn't get the steak again.
