We enjoy going To Beacons Restaurant. The food is delicious, the servers and other staff are very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. When we go there we are treated like old friends. We used to go to Beacons in the 1990s, loved it then, love it now.

The 'from scratch kitchen' attracted us to this restaurant on Rte 1 in Walpole. Food and service above expectations; the atmosphere was a little dark and dated. Overall, would try it again.

Went for Valentine's dinner. The interior was nice. Not many choices of entrees that were less expensive. The waitress recommended the eggplant parm, large portion of pasta with a good sauce. The eggplant itself tasted weird, almost a pickled taste, it was off putting. The other person got the lamb ragu, which was lacking in flavor. We both ordered whiskey neat because the price seemed good $13 and $14 when the bill came they were $16 and $17. When we showed the waitress the price in the menu she was equally confused. After speaking to the bar she came back and informed us because we got them neat it was a larger pour and thus a price mark up. The menu did not warn of this price difference which is really sleezy if you ask me. Any good bartender measures pours and it shouldn't matter if there's ice or not. 2oz is 2oz Likely won't be returning, far too mediocre for the prices they charge for everything on the menu.

My family and I celebrated my 40+ birthday(8/23/24) at Beacons on the outside patio and the service, atmosphere and food couldn’t have been any better. Highly recommend this family-owned spot if you’re looking for great atmosphere with a family vide.

Absolutely fabulous experience. From the time we walked in everyone was pleasant, the restaurant is nicely decorated. The tables were roomy, the seats comfortable, the service impeccable (thank you Eva), and the food excellent. Nice touch when the manager and owner checked in to make sure everything was just right.
Great meal overall . Excellent cocktail , Aiden the waiter was exceptionally nice and attentive . Nice atmosphere outside .
Only blip - they kicked a keg (at 6pm on a Friday) took 15 mins and still didn’t swap it out .

Nice location with plenty of parking. I've eaten here a few times & truthfully the prices are very high for what you get. I enjoy the appetizers more than the entrees, particularly the buffalo wings & bruschetta. I had chicken caprese & while I like the concept, the chicken had absolutely NO flavor. I don't even think they seasoned it with salt & pepper. Same with the roasted potatoes it came with. I think they cater to the older crowd & keep things bland. While eating my bruschetta, I observed fruit flies crawling out from the tomatoes which really disgusted me & I was disappointed that I'd spent $11 just to throw half of it away. The saving grace was our waiter, Jared. He was very kind, polite & attentive which I liked. The other staff there seems to only acknowledge the "regulars."

We often go to the Beacons bar and we’ve always had excellent service, atmosphere and food. My favorite cocktail is their Smoke on the Charles Old Fashioned, and my beer enthusiast husband enjoys their solid tap options. Their bruschetta pizza and ginger soy wings are our go-to meal to share. Recently we chose to have a small event there following my grandmother’s funeral service and I was compelled to come write a review because of the excellent experience. They made it so easy, knowing that we had no clue how many people to expect or what time we would arrive. The food and service was great as usual and I would highly recommend them.
