Tried this for the first time today and LOVED IT! My order was ready fast and everything tasted so fresh… especially the potatoes … YUM. And if you’re worried about price, you can always order on Uber Eats with promotions to save a couple bucks. 10/10 I’ll be back.

Absolutely terrible. The pita bread was wrapped terrible and it spilled everywhere. You also have to pay additional $3 for beans and hummus. Every time I go to this branch, they have terrible customer service and give customers attitude for everything. Pakora fries are soggy too.

This restaurant is one of the few places, especially now, that is cheap and delicious with generous portions. I always get stuffed on their falafel plate. Their fries and wings are also delicious. Be sure to get all of the sauces!

Service is not just the way you treat the customers, but also how your treat staff. I walked into one staff member yelling at another about a hotel pan. After they finally noticed me, the one yelling processed my order with an awful attitude.
The food tasted great, but she literally wrapped my gyro like a burrito, and I got a mess of a lunch when I got home.

Food is okay… customer service could be better. One of the servers there measures each portion like he’s a chemist and it will hurt him if gives you a little more meat or rice and there is a very bad odor coming from the restroom area. I think you guys should fix that and make sure there is soap and paper towels in bathroom.

Delicious! Plus, the lamb and rice platter with falafel was enough for two meals for me, and it was just as tasty cold.
I got the chicken rice platter and it was pretty good! You order the rest of the veggies kind of like chipotle style and it was fast and an easy stop in meal during the roadtrip!

Shah's Halal Food is great! I am a big fan of this style of cuisine and I used to live in Boston and was sorely missing having a CNRG nearby and was very excited when this location opened in Walpole. This was my first time trying Shah's but they did not disappoint. I have tried a few of their dishes but my go to order now is the Combo Gyro and an extra order of their Hot Wings. I have been bringing family and friends here for the last year and every single one of them has really enjoyed the food!
The prices are a great value for amount of food you are getting and everything is delicious and the flavors are great! I really can't find a single thing to complain about with Shah's. My father in law is a bit picky with food but we got takeout once for him and he liked it so much that he will now pick up a large order when he comes to visit because it's just consistently good and fresh and he knows everyone will be happy to eat Shah's. While I don't follow a strict Halal diet, my parents do and so when they come to visit, it can be a bit difficult to pick food to get for us to eat but now Shah's is my go to.
We had ordered from them so many times that I began to wonder if they do catering orders for parties and events and in fact, they do! I worked directly with the owner to place an order for a party we had this weekend and it was a huge success. Everyone loved the food and everyone was asking where it was from. The price was amazing for the amount and quality of food that you get.
There's someone in the reviews that stated they felt the prices were too high but I honestly have no idea what they are smoking. The prices are great and provide a great value to the food you are getting, especially compared to the nearby options. That same person was suggesting other chains that are nowhere near Walpole and even comparing this authentic HALAL food to American chains ?. Looking at their history it seems they are from the VA/MD area and yes inflation is partly a factor but the real difference is that MA has a 56% higher cost of living compared to Virginia.
Honestly, I can not say enough good things about this business. It is run well, they are constantly improving and introducing new products and items, and they are just consistently good with what they do. I highly recommend you try this place out!

Visited this places for the 1st time. The customer service was very poor. I requested to add rice to my gyro. The employee said he can’t do that. I then asked if I can get rice as a side or on the side he said no. I asked why and he said because they don’t do that. I offered to pay extra and he said no and told me they have rules and these rules means they can’t do that. It made no sense. I then said wouldn’t you accommodate a customers order and he simply said no.
Never had a restaurant/cafe not be accommodating or even provide something on the side when offering to pay extra. It was strange. We simply left and said sorry then I can’t order here.
Would not come here again because the service outweighed the food.
