I've been to Ella's in Wareham many times, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience or a bad meal. The consistency here is something special — every visit feels like a treat. The service is always warm, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. The drinks are top-notch too — the bartenders clearly know their craft and always serve up something balanced and creative. Food-wise, it's hard to pick favorites, but the baked oysters are an absolute standout — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh every single time. And the filet mignon? Melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked to perfection. It's one of those dishes that keeps you coming back. Ella's manages to blend upscale dining with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere — a rare combination that makes it one of my go-to spots on the South Coast. Whether you're there for a special occasion or just a casual night out, you can count on an excellent meal and a great experience. Highly recommend!
The food was excellent. We tried the oysters, Arugala and beet salad and 2 pizzas. Every bite was outstanding. Big kudos to this chef. So happy we discovered Ella's. Can't wait to return.
Not as I remembered this restaurant Food was just okay No vegetarian options Service - we had a pleasant server but she seemed rushed as no one else was in yet Utensils where hard to get
Food and service great as always! Some of the best cocktails around. The "Autumn Negroni" was SO tasty! Had the pork chop twice in a row, it's one of the best I've had anywhere. And the new veggie and spaetzl mix that came with it could be a dish all by itself! Only complaint is that there are no vegan dishes (one or two of the apps are vegan or could be made vegan by leaving off cheese, but one or two dedicated dishes would be great). That's really our only "complaint". Ella's is different than 95% of the typical Cape restaurants, even the high end spots. Which is why we love coming back!
Food as excellent as usual. If you are bothered by noise, you might want to dine elsewhere but the food is so good here it's just something you put up with to enjoy a really delicious meal.
Excellent food and service. Very loud in the dining room, but the food is worth the yelling to be heard 😊
We were in need of a fine meal and we chose Ella's from previous experiences. The Salad plate was exceptional with many pieces of beets and arugula etc .The entre bone in pork was spot on. My wife ordered an eggplant starter very well enjoyed as was her Salmon, shrimp+ cous-cous saffron broth entre. The meal was perfect and service very good and congenial. It was exactly what we needed-total satisfaction .JO
Ella's has a very creative chef(s). I ordered clam chowder which was different and delicious accompanied by clams in the shell, not little chunks of clam in the soup. All the dishes we've had have been excellent although be prepared for a bit of a wait. Every dish is excellent although I have never tried the pizza so no comment there.
We have been enjoying Ella's for many years. Food and service were wonderful as usual! We were seated by the bar which was pretty rowdy for a 6:30 reservation however, hence the 4 rating overall.
Ella's menu is simply not as venturesome as it once was. Its standards - while still higher than those of many competitors - have fallen in terms of item variety, quality of ingredients and taste surprises. Pizza has become the menu 'go to' rather than one choice among many. We'll still go, but the urge to go more often is no longer there.

Amazing food! Great, energetic atmosphere! Service was impeccable both from the hostess and our server! Not the best place for a quiet romantic dinner for 2 but perfect for a celebration or dinner with family or friends. It was our first time there. We chose to go after having a superb meal at Cast, a sister restaurant to Ella's. So glad we did! We'll be back!
Service was great, food was delicious and desserts were enjoyed. Another great dining experience at Ella's!
Amazingly good food. Best pizza I've had in Massachusetts since ( I'm a New Yorker accustomed to great pizza). ). 5 visits in three weeks. Never disappoints.
Probably known for their vrick oven gourmet pizza they do offer a small array of other items. The kitchen is open and you can watch the Chefs do their magic. The food is good but I felt the menu was a bit on the small side. Great place to stop by and enjoy a nice atmosphere and good food, service and atmosphere. My wife and I went recently and she had the mushroom and truffle pizza and I had the lobster pasta. We split a Cesar salad and a brushetta app. Our bill with tip was $116...No cocktails.

Food never disappoints at Ella's! Service was a bit slower than normal given that it was a Tuesday and the restaurant was not crowded. Always recommend Ella's to friends!
