Brickhouse Restaurant Eastham MA

I placed a $280 order this evening via the Toast order online app, which said would be ready in 25 minutes. When we arrived to pick up, the hostess told us it would be about another 10 minutes because there was a table who ordered ahead of us first. At this point I had placed the order 30 minutes prior. We had to ask 3 more times for an update on our food, and were told by the hostess she needed to seat the newly arrived, eat-in patrons first, then, 50 minutes after placing our order and 25 minutes after arriving to pick up the food was finally ready. My “lobster roll” sandwich looked like imitation lobster, it was pieces of lobster I’ve never seen come off of a fresh lobster before, the taste and texture was inedible and it was severed on an untasted hamburger roll. The kid’s Mac and cheese which was $12 was clearly out of a Kraft Mac and Cheese box, this isn’t an insult, it’s an observation. The kid’s chicken tenders were so dry they were inedible. The ahi tuna was over cooked, and the rest of the food was borderline edible.

Disappointing. We sat in the corner booth but asked to move when we noticed the spiders and cobwebs above our heads. Server blamed the cleaners. Table was reset but no one cleaned. Told the manager who only pretended to care, then turned away to speak to other customers. Food was bland and average. Could be a great place if management actually cared about the place. Needs updating. Not worth it, even at early bird pricing.

When my wife and I stay in Orleans we are always looking for a nice place to eat. The Brickhouse was exactly what we were looking for. We sat at the bar because we were early for our reservation. The bartender was friendly, the drinks were well made, and the atmosphere was inviting. We asked for food recommendations and she suggested chicken marsala and the orange scallops. The food was excellent. The service as excellent.
We will be returning the next time that we are in the area.

My apologies for not bringing this up directly with folks at the time - we ordered food to go and it was a rainy night on our first day of vacation in early June. Food overall was mediocre and the $39 lobster roll was served over a bed of slimy lettuce. Did not go back.

I highly recommend this place on or off season. It’s huge, high ceilings, tables unusually well spaced from each other so even though it was a full house it didn’t feel packed. It’s friendly, fun, has a wide selection of food and a fireplace, and can squeeze u in on a Saturday at 7pm at the height of the season. It’s economical- the portions are very big. My very full friend and I rolled out of there like blueberry girls. We could have done well splitting a salad and an entree. Instead we each gobbled down an appetizer AND entree. I can’t wait to go back.

Not only is the food great, it has something for everyone, and it must be the best restaurant for gluten free food on the cape. I LOVE all of the Mac’s and also highly recommend them, but this place is even better for gf. Almost everything on the menu including the fried seafood is gf.

There’s an early bird special from 4-6. I didn’t see that menu

I guess I should say the service is not fast, but we had no complaints

We had an amazing dinner at Brickhouse! Our server, Michael, was fantastic – so friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. If we are ever back in cape cod, we will be back!

Service is amazing and servers were very kind. The food was phenomenal and the fries melted on your tongue. The atmosphere was very homy and the music is not too loud. 10/10 would reccomend.

I reserved the function room for my wedding reception recently and couldn't be more pleased with the service, the food, and the value. To anyone looking to book an event on the cape, I'm confident to say you won't find a better value for your money. Kim was very helpful throughout the whole whole reservation process and even let us show up early to set up decorations.

Everything was delicious and we were able to make a reservation ahead of time. Service was great. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere is because it was a little loud and it made it tough to hear other people at the same table. It is one big room and there isn't much to help soundproofing or dampening the noise and the background music on top made it even tougher to hear any conversation. And everybody in the restaurant has to speak louder so it's like a domino effect and every one has to speak louder and louder ver the music and other people trying to hear each other...

The food was ok, swrvice was not great. Price was very high for what you get. The jerk chicken just had BBQ sauce, mussels didn't have enough butter. You maybe better off just getting traditional American dishes.

Local talent playing guitar on a weekday made the atmosphere perfect. Great oysters from Wellfleet along with delicious scallops made a truly delicious meal.
