We decided to have brunch before a lovely beach day at Marconi Beach. They close at noon, so at 11:45 they served up a filling, delicious meal. The food is all homemade and cooked to order. I ordered bacon- intending on eating one piece. Didn’t happen. Very high quality cooked perfectly. I followed other reviewer’s suggestions and had the BLUEBERRY pancakes. I can’t say enough about how fluffy and light they were and how great they tasted loaded with fresh, sweet blueberries My husband ordered the all meat omelette with home fries. The homefries were crispy and not reheated. As just a handful of stragglers followed us, we were impressed. The omelette was cooked perfectly with generous fillings. Homemade sourdough toast was great. And we couldn’t leave without the homemade coffee cake which we enjoyed for dessert that night. Almost too good to be true.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of GF options and food all made to order.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of outdoor seating and an area in back where kids can run around outside.

Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of parking and outdoor seating with no stairs.

I find myself in the unfortunate position to say that at least from trying out the avocado toast I am underwhelmed with the experience - especially with a price tag of $14. The pickled onions are a nice touch, but it was lacking depth of spice and the homemade bread was a bit too dense for my taste. Personally I'd suggest adding some lime, chili flakes and cumin to give it more of a twist.

Coffee was okay. I most likely would still be back, as we left some pastries were in the oven, and they smelled incredibly good, so your experience might be far better.

We took pancakes and omelette. The pancakes looked better than they tasted, overly artificial flavor, and the omelette was overcooked. Most disappointing of all, the service. The owner was rushing us, although there was no line, and straight asked us by voice how much % we will tip her. Overall, very overpriced. Not going to come back

Food was good and at $50 for breakfast for 2, the prices were set for a tourist area. Service was poor and VERY SLOW. Patrons places orders with the person also responsible for making coffee as well. It was very difficult to get take out boxes for uneaten food. I approached the owner who was sitting down and on her phone and told I would have to ask my waiter for a box. I didn't realize I had a waiter.
There are other places to enjoy breakfast on the Cape.

I didn't appreciate the rebuttal by the owner AND the multiple times she has edited it and reposted it. I did not have a good experience here, she has many other reviews but ~ Reviews are available for a reason ~ and at $50 for a two person breakfast, everyone should have the option of understanding the experience before going.

I knew this was not Fast Food, I have eaten there many times since it opened in 2004. While the owner works hard, my comment revolved around at the time of day we were there and how crowded her restaurant was, possibly that is when she should be assisting her staff. I had NO IDEA we had a waiter, as we NEVER saw him. I waited at a counter, took a number and food was brought to my table. I didn't realize that person was a "waiter" as he never came back to our table. If the order taker didn't also have to make coffees, the lines would be more manageable.

For starters, Laura the owner… what a lovely lady! She is so nice to talk with and her baking is BEYOND 5-Star!
The pancakes are the best scratch-made I’ve ever had. The coffee crumb cake was so delicious but so huge a slice that we split 3 ways! The cinnamon bun was magical.
We ate here two days in a row and we are stopping again tomorrow before our drive home.
The waitstaff were very nice young men, and the coffee was the best we’ve found on the Cape…WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

My husband and I were staying at the hotel next to this restaurant so we decided to check this place out. However, we didn’t find our breakfast to be “amazing.” I had a very small avocado toast which didn’t even come with home fries or anything despite paying $14 plus an extra $3 for one egg. It was tasty but compared to other avocado toasts I’ve had, I was underwhelmed.

My husband ordered the Meat Lovers omelette special and it looked to consist more of ham than any other meat.

We also had a fruit bowl with granola and yogurt that was sad for the following reasons: watermelon was included although it left a big water puddle at the bottom of the bowl (we love watermelon but because of its heavy water content, not a good combo with yogurt), the yogurt wasn’t even Greek yogurt which would have held up better, and there was very little granola included.

Overall, we felt our breakfast to be overpriced for what we got.

We came last year while visiting and were excited to come again! Came in June but they were not open. We visited again in August and had a lovely delicious breakfast. We arrived as they were opening and were the first to order. An order of pancakes, home fries and bacon was plenty to split between two people and we had leftovers.

The iced coffee was very good!

I overheard someone (manager? owner?) telling a waiter/bus boy “in America we say ‘if you have time to lean, you have time to clean’.” which could have been said in jest but everyone appeared to be very productive and I would assume/hope that first thing in the morning everything was clean already! That was the only thing I noticed and did not affect my impression. We can’t wait to be back!

Loved the tofu scramble and everyone is so nice! Home fries are not vegan but they offered to make them special for me.

Really great addition to the Cape food scene. Leaning into excellent homemade baked goods, Laura and Tony have found a formula that seems to work.

The cooked breakfast menu has all the usuals, and our daughter especially enjoyed the fluffy and very light pancakes.

The avocado toast was good, but the bread wasn't the sourdough that was advertised. The toast was a quite dense, fairly bland doorstop of white bread that didn't add anything to the dish. The avocado however had a great flavor and the egg was perfectly cooked.

And, as the reviews had warned...the coffee cake is to DIE FOR. Omg. Indulgent, sweet, crumbly, flaky yumminess. That is an 'every time' purchase.

Cape Cod needs more places like this and wishing Laura and Tony's all the best for a strong future.

I miss the old buffet, but the a la carte options are also always delicious. Still one of the best places to get breakfast on the Cape!
