Visiting the Lobster Shanty was honestly underwhelming. Based on what I had read and heard beforehand, I expected something far more impressive or impactful. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.

While it’s interesting from a historical and conceptual standpoint, there wasn’t much there to really engage or wow visitors. The presentation felt minimal, and without stronger context or interactive elements, it was hard to fully appreciate...
First time here. Great chowder, lobster rolls, fish - chips,... the whole belly fried clams were excellent - and I'm picky. Willl rate it a 5 after I happily work my way through the menu.
Visited this restaurant in October, off the season. Have no idea if it is open year around. There was no hostess, and we were served by the guy who was behind the counter. The room with the bar was full, so we had to stay in the left side of the building, and had the menu with only soft drinks, no alcohol. The prices are high, because of sea food. The place itself is very old, and has some maritime related decor.
There was plenty of parking outside.
