Nice Quaint little place, not too big inside probably room for 25 people maximum including the bar. We believe there's one person in the back making sushi and cooking the other dishes and like three others in front one waitress one bartender and one person taking used plates back. The prices are on par with other sushi places but all their dishes served to my 7 person party were exquisite. You could tell they don't usually get groups on a weekday. The poor waitress was flustered at times but did a good job for handling the rare weekday pressure of a group that takes up about half the restaurant ordering appetizers several rounds of drinks and large Entrees . If you have a group of 5 or more you should probably call ahead and reserve their one large table that can accommodate the demand.

First impression wasn’t that great. We walked in and the host just pointed to an empty table near the door for us to sit. The place is so much smaller than I expected and they only had one server when we ate there which made service super slow but the food was really good. They did forget one of our appetizers but were quick to remove it from the bill when we mentioned it. Overall it was an ok experience and we might go back just not for a date night.

Take out bibimbap was a glorified fried rice and it was swimming in oil. Was not at all Bibimbap. I paid for extra veggies and it was disappointing. Way overpriced for the small meal.

This location is a hidden gem that is well worth visiting! The ambiance and service are excellent; nevertheless, I would have rated it five stars if the music had been more in line with Japanese culture (pop music was playing) and the stunning artwork had been more prominent. Having said that, I'm all about the delicious meals! This is the place to go if you want an amazing sushi/miso soup/Pad Thai/Saki/etc. experience. Despite my many visits, I have never been let down by the cuisine. This is a place I would suggest.

There simply isn't a better dining experience in Easton! Hayashi is the best. I eat there all the time, and so do my parents. The owners are very kind as well. The food will blow your mind! I highly recommend trying the chicken katsudon (you're welcome).

Was a regular here for lunch for a couple months. Prices went up, and portions got smaller at the same time. Food is great quality though, but sadly it’s far too expensive for the size of the meals

Incredible Omakase! The fish is incredibly fresh and the flavors are very well balanced. One of the best sushi places I’ve had outside of Boston!

Food was good, ordered spicy dumpling soup but it wasn't spicy. I asked for extra spices and they were highly accommodating providing me with extra spicy seasonings for it. Sushi was on par. The tempura rice dish was yummy but only came with 1 of each fried veggies and 3 shrimp so it felt lacking (I guess I'm just used to a multitude of tempura fried veggies with more than 3 shrimps) the rice was cooked nicely and the 4 pieces of streamed broccoli and match stick carrots were done to perfection.I'm not sure if the prices were worth it but it was yummyKind of wish they had more than 2 people and the sushi chef on on a Saturday night but I understand the slowness of service because of the lack of staff.I literally sat on a hard bench with no cushion almost like a book shelf, the table was smashed with a plastic placemat covering what used to be a hot pot burner and was not warned of this. It just seemed offThe limited staff was immensity accommodating and amazing! Highlight of the night!

My fave part about this place is the food and Jacky the bartender. She’s amazing. She’s partly why I’m always there.

Portion size is insane. $12.95 for beef on a stick and this is what I got.
