The hostess seated me promptly and our server was knowledgeable and professional. Our lunch were delicious
I go to La Familia quite often and it is one of my favorite places. The food is always delicious and the service quick and the servers are always smiling!
Very nice place. Good vibe. A bit noisy at times but everyone was having a great night out so it was to be expected with an open seating plan. Food was very good, service was ok, waitress was hard to find to get more water and to pay the bill. Wine was yummy. Will definitely go back.
Consistently excellent food. The shrimp scampi and the stuffed quahog were delicious. We were there on a busy Saturday night so service was a tad slower but still good.
The food was delicious well prepared and fresh. Great selection of items to choose from... We had lunch so we ordered off the Lunch menu. Can't say enough about what a great restaurant this is!
Friendly and efficient staff, and food was excellent. All four of us enjoyed our meal choices.
Always a good experience at La Familia. Great overall but they are very accommodating if you have large parties.
The food was very good as usual tender and very tasty. The only complaint I had was that the chicken parmegian could have been hotter. The other couple had the combo that included eggplant which was overcooked, but they replaced that with fresh pieces. Still our go to for good italian food and will continue to recommend it.
Visited La Familia for the first time with a friend. It wasn’t overly busy for a Friday night and we were sat quickly. We waited a while to be greeted by the waitress for a drink order. The Clam chowders and pumpkin ravioli special were good, the food came out hot which was refreshing. Alfredo sauce tasted a bit off. Overall, thought the waitress could have been more attentive. We sat for a while needing more water and wanting to order more drinks but she never came back after our meals were served until we were done and ready for the check.

1st time here. Good menu and wine selection. We had the Portugese boneless wings. Very good. My bride ordered Chicken Marsalla, delicious as she described. Unfortunately, it went south from there. I ordered the baked scrod. The dish was a little bland. They served garlic mashed potatoes and butternut squash with the meal. The fish was warm, potatoes cold, squash cold and bitter. They served warm bread at the beginning of the meal, burned black, with plain oil with no spices. I had a black Russian, made with a little vodka and off brand coffee brandy. It's not very good tasting. The staff worked hard, and we're inviting. Maybe a bad night, I may try again?

Pace of service was a bit on the slow side. Service was friendly however. Waited on bread because we were told they ran out and had to heat more. Sirloin was rather tough and overcooked with lots of tough gristle. Mashed potatoes and green beans were okay. My wife enjoyed her specialty cocktails and her burger. We had a housefly hovering around the table and food the entire time we were there. Made the experience worse. Prices were in line with most local establishments. I had higher expectations for this restaurant.

I really enjoy La Familia! Last night was not as good unfortunately. The wait staff was friendly. 2 of us had grilled chicken in our dishes, one plate was a special the other fettuccine. The chicken had a burnt taste to it in both dishes so obviously it was from the same batch. My raviolis were excellent. My husbands dish was great. They shouldn't have served the burnt chicken since it overwhelmed the taste of the dish.
My wife and I celebrated our 1 year annicersary here the other night. We had been wanting to try La Familia because it's right down the street from our house and we weren't disappointed. The food was incredible. Our waiter, Eric, was great as well. Very friendly and makes one hell of an old fashioned! We will be coming back for sure!
My wife and I enjoyed our dinner! Thank you for the hospitality and refreshing food.
