When I am in town I try to eat here every. Single. Day. This is by far my favorite place to eat on the island. I don’t even know why I’m leaving a review because this place speaks for itself. I miss this place when I’m not in town. Awesome bar tenders. Awesome oysters. Other places will charge you just as much for a mediocre version of what they serve here. Go here first then judge other places based off your experience here. Enjoy

The food was delicious and generous. Our server was hot and cold, but she could have been really busy? The bartender (who was serving others) seemed really friendly and wonderful! The host was aloof and did not appear to enjoy her job, but could have been having a bad day. Maybe not the perfect match for her job position (perhaps not front of house)? Seating in the bar area was tight and a bit uncomfortable regarding temperature (cold) and space planning.

We have very mixed reviews about our experience. Most importantly I think, all six of our food dishes were excellent: foie gras, scallop bowl, clam chowder, steak tartare (huge portion), lobster slider with caviar, and oysters. The cocktails and wine were ok. The large ice was not clear. The service was hot and cold. The table was a bit cold in spite of heaters. Maybe we expected too much on a Tuesday night in October in a room open to the outdoors.

Front of house is extremely rude. We were sitting adults at one table and kids at another. We turned around and our kids were gone because they made them get up from their table (without telling their parents) before the check came so they could give the table to another party because “they had been waiting”. Total attitude. The food was mediocre and the wine list is all grocery store wines. Will not go back.

Great night. Local oysters best I had on E Coast this summah. Clam chowder while not traditional New England cream has more clams than I have ever had and I know my chowder. Baked oysters were great but 2 more would be better. Scallops reported great. Been several times and this topped it.

The best restaurant on the Vineyard in my books. I had the oyster platter. Then mussels curry dish for appetizer, I am still salivating over it. For Entree I had my favorite fish- the whole Red-snapper, yum. My 16 year daughter actually recommended the place to me in August. They went out alone for nice dinner with her friends and especially love the Lobster Bolognese. They looked up places nearby and they chose you. Then a lady I met in Boston while talking about MV, she also mentioned the place as the best seafood place. So when I came back alone in September, it was on top of my list. Thank you for an amazing culinary experience.

Wow, fantastic! The shrimp fried rice was probably the best fried rice I’ve ever had. Loved the swordfish as well.
Service was wonderful. They also had a great selection of music.

This restaurant was recommended by a family friend so we decided to dine here for Labor Day weekend. Initially, we were impressed by the decor and outdoor seating but things went down hill after we had to interact with the rude hostess. She didn’t even acknowledge me when I was standing directly in front of her asking about availability for a party of eight. However, she did make sure to speak to another member in my party after I waited for almost twenty minutes. I understand that it is a busy weekend but her actions were unprofessional. First impressions are lasting impressions. Once we were seated, the wait staff were kind and accommodating to a large party with children. Unfortunately, the Bibb Salad was underwhelming and my scallops were overcooked. The oysters were the only enjoyable item on the menu. As a result, we will not return to this particular restaurant. I highly recommend dining at The Dunes restaurant located in the Winnetu Oceanside Resort in Edgartown.

This place is a must have on the island. Every meal we ordered was next level. We started with a variety of oysters, all of which were cleaned and tasted very fresh.
All the main course meals were excellent. One of the best lunch spots we’ve tried in the Northeast.

Really good cocktails. The food also looks fantastic. Next time I am here I will try it for dinner and update this post.
Great date night spot in Edgartown. We love going and sitting at the bar. No reservations needed. Great cocktails, oysters, seafood and steaks. ?
