Bettini Restaurant

This dining experience was horrific! Poorly trained staff, with arrogant, insensitive management, and bizarre chef preparations. So disappointing, especially when the interior design and location are so spectacular! We heard that the Harbor View Hotel recently “outsourced” the restaurant management. Unfortunately, the hotel's reputation takes a huge hit with that decision. Will NEVER return!

We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and were delighted to see “Happy Anniversary”printed at the top of the menu we were presented upon our arrival!!!

This was the best dining experience of our vacation. We had an aperitif, starter, and main course – and everything was excellent. The service was very attentive and professional, making us feel welcome from the start. We had a great table in a quiet, comfortable spot. The food was outstanding: beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with top-quality ingredients. Prices are very high, likely due to inflation, but the overall experience made it feel worth it. A memorable evening and definitely a highlight of our trip.

We had an elegant evening that started with a cocktail reception, next we went to dinner in a grand set to celebrate the pairing of fine wine with a (4)course one of kind chef creations. This was an amazing evening and we enjoyed the people we met, beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food, and fine wine.

Spectacular event! The yearly event of all events with a stellar Chef line up. Impeccable passed tidbits, champagne flowing, amazing staff and the most entertaining Chef's on this side of the world! Oh Chef Ashton had us in stitches, Chef Juan Martinez flaunting a delicate and powerful flavor hand with a perfect dessert that delivered toothsome apples in a soft sweetness confection; Chef Ashton pulled off a magnificent lobster-tainted French sauce (lick your plate clean worthy) enrobing the most delicate and toothsome lobster ravioli... AH! But that corn tamale stuffed with cheese - light, fluffy ethereal - Chef Noe's family recipe hailing from the Beverly Restaurant Que Mas, interpreted, signed, sealed and delivered by Chef Alex Pineda. AND THAT DUCK!? Perfection! absolutely amazing wine pairings and festive ambiance. A visit from Chef Lydia Shire motherly loving on her wonderful son, dressed like a queen and humble like your most adoring neighbor, it was magic. Alas, we can't forget our Sommalier of the evening and the captian of the whole production, the host with the biggest heart - Bernard. An event not to be missed! Culinary BLISS!

A Truly Unforgettable Dining Experience at Bettini

Dining at Bettini Restaurant was one of the most meaningful and beautiful experiences I've ever had. Located in the stunning Harbor View Hotel in Martha’s Vineyard, the atmosphere was breathtaking — with luxurious decor and a serene view of the water that set the perfect tone for the evening.

I had mentioned in advance that it was my mother’s birthday — though she is now in heaven, I celebrate her every year. What the team at Bettini did for me moved me to tears. When I sat down, they handed me a personalized menu created in honor of my mom. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. They even told me I could take the menu home, which I will treasure forever.

The food was absolutely amazing, every bite was perfect. To top it all off, they brought out a beautiful birthday dessert with a chocolate “Happy Birthday” plaque and a tall candle. It felt like they celebrated her with me.

To say I had an amazing time would be an understatement. Bettini is not just a restaurant — it's a place that touches your heart. Thank you to the entire staff for making my evening so special.

We had a great dinner and Alex and his wife and the sommelier took care of us perfectly. The noise level for 70 year olds is too high, and it wasn't until some of the other diners left around 9 PM that we could have good conversation at the table. The restaurant had a great view, the food was superb and everything was excellent except the noise level. Pricing was high but appropriate for the level of the cuisine. Ask for a quiet table far from the bar.

Everything was fantastic. From the moment we arrived the service was spot on, the food was delicious and the wine was perfect (I love when they have a fab Sancerre by the glass and my husband loves the large rocks with his Scotch!). Thank you, we will most assuredly return!

Bettini is always a welcome experience. We dine here every year. Service, food and ambience is always top notch.

Food was excellent but the service was terrible. We ordered the oysters on half shell (6per order) and oyster with caviar (3 in order) and the scallop entree and lamb lollipops. Entrees were perfectly cooled. Our server didn't check in on us and we had to ask for refills for water. Disappointing service for the price point.

I think this may be the best restaurant on MV. we absolutely loved it. the place is gorgeous and the service was awesome. best of all the food was amazing. there were 4 of us and we all LOVED our food. my daughter is gluten free and they brought her gluten free rolls. She never gets to have something like that at a restaurant and was sooooo happy! We will definitely be back again and again!
